HIGH-THROUGHPUT, LOW-COST DETECTION OF SARS-COV-2 VARIANTS, NOW INCLUDING THE
OMICRON VARIANT

     

Laboratories seek robust solutions to address the impact of emerging SARS-CoV-2
variants such as Omicron and Delta on accurate detection. While sequencing-based
technologies are commonly used, they are highly complex, expensive, and have a
long turnaround time.

 

To meet these challenges head-on, Agena Bioscience® is proud to announce an
update to the existing MassARRAY® SARS-CoV-2 Variant Panel enabling the
detection and differentiation of the Omicron variant. Our technology enables
laboratories to overcome many of the challenges of other technologies with a
high-throughput, low-cost and rapid assay for the qualitative detection and
discrimination of 16 unique SARS-CoV-2 variants in a single test.
