PHOENIX—Today, Rep. Stanton joins President Joe Biden, Interior Secretary Deb
Haaland and Tribal leaders from across Arizona and the country as the President
offers an apology for the Federal Indian Boarding School era. He issued the
following statement ahead of the President’s remarks:

PHOENIX—Rep. Greg Stanton today applauded the U.S. Department of Transportation
for issuing a landmark $50 million penalty against American Airlines for
repeatedly failing to provide safe, dignified, and prompt wheelchair assistance
and mishandling passengers’ wheelchairs. He also welcomed the news that DOT is
actively investigating similar incidents...

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday hailed a new
report from the Department of Health and Human Services that said that the 2022
Inflation Reduction Act saved Medicare enrollees nearly $1 billion in the first
half of this year. The Inflation Reduction Act, passed by Democrats with
Harris’s tie-breaking vote in the Senate, established a cap on out-of-pocket
