Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH live webinar is an overview of the biography and
technical achievements of Nikola Tesla. Tesla was born more than a hundred years
ago, however his legacy and his great inventions still largely drive our modern
civilization.

 

Tesla invented most of what we now call the electrical grid, wireless
transmission, and many other things we enjoy in our daily lives. Tesla was born
on July 10, 1856, in the Austrian Empire, now Croatia. After a checkered
academic career in Europe, he moved to the United States where he initially
worked with Thomas Edison. Later, as an independent inventor, he reached the
peak of his tremendous career. 

 

This 2 PDH webinar is intended for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical
engineers, as well as design and construction personnel.

Learning Objectives

This PE continuing education course is intended to provide you with the
following specific knowledge and skills:

 * Familiarizing with the engineering achievements of Nikola Tesla
 * Learning about Tesla's inventions
 * Understanding the impact of Tesla’s achievements on the engineering science
   and the humanity.

Certificate of Completion (PDH Credit)

Following attending the webinar, you need to return to the CEDengineering.ca
website and log in to your account to complete and submit the feedback form.
Once submitted, we will email you your Certificate of Completion. You can also
download it instantly, or at anytime, from your account where all your CPD
