The Acquisition Gateway will be implementing a new sign-on process beginning
Monday, November 18, 2024. We will be transitioning from Max.gov to Login.gov. 
Please note, the migration process may impact users logging in over the weekend
of November 16 and 17.
 

This does not impact access to our public-facing site and content.  

To log in to AcquisitionGateway.gov, you will be prompted to create a new
account with Login.gov if you do not already have one. Please note that the
Login.gov account should be linked to your government email address.  After
that, whenever you log in to the Acquisition Gateway, you will use the Login.gov
credentials and an authentication method you’ve chosen during account creation. 

To get started with setting up a new Login.gov account,
visit: login.gov/help/get-started/overview/   Here, you will find guidance for
creating your new Login.gov account and authentication options.

A NEW SIGN-ON PROCESS BEGINS NOVEMBER 18, 2024

The Acquisition Gateway will be implementing a new sign-on process starting

ACQUISITION GATEWAY PRODUCTION SYSTEM DOWN 11/6 FROM 4-7 PM

Due to a production deployment, the Acquisition Gateway Production System will
be down on 11/6/24 from 4-7 pm ET. The site https://acquisitiongateway.gov will
be in maintenance mode while the deployment is happening. We apologize for any
inconvenience.


CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

Category Management is the practice of buying common goods and services as an
organized enterprise in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of
acquisition activities.


HI-DEF INITIATIVE

The Hi-Def Initiative is a new government-wide effort to promote Hi-Definition
(Hi-Def) acquisitions by enabling agencies to leverage government-wide
acquisition data that is relevant, easily accessed, and available at the time of
need.


SHARED SERVICES

A government-wide Shared Services approach is a marketplace of common mission
support solutions and services. The Office of Management and Budget has
designated Quality Service Management Offices (QSMOs) in key Mission Support
Service areas.
