🔥 Did you know? Throwing hazardous materials in the trash can lead to sudden,
dangerous fires in our garbage trucks! Items like vapes/ vape pens, lithium
batteries, hot ashes, paints, oils, fuels, brake fluid, and pool chemicals
should not be tossed in your trash or recycling bins. As shown in this incident,
our Public Works staff has two options when a truck catches fire due to
hazardous materials: 1) try to smoke it out or 2) evacuate the contents of the
truck in a safe location. Take hazardous waste to a designated drop-off for safe
disposal. Visit OntarioCA.Gov/IntegratedWaste for a list of locations.

Made in Ontario: Fruit Growers Supply

Fruit Growers Supply (FGS) was born out of Sunkist Growers' vision in 1907 to
craft wooden crates for their Californian oranges. Today, FGS extends its role
beyond fulfilling Sunkist's supply chain requirements and is now open to the
public, aiding both large and small farms in bringing their harvests to market.

FGS stands as a great community steward, and all wastewater is channeled into a
zero-discharge system, where it undergoes full treatment and is 100% repurposed.

Whether procuring supplies, designing a commercial irrigation system, accessing
prime citrus wax, or acquiring tailored corrugated packaging and reliable
shipping pallets, FGS has you covered.

Thank you, Fruit Growers Supply, for participating in this series! To learn more
about FGS, visit fruitgrowers.com.
