BRITISH SCHOOL IN MADRID

St George is a private British school, located in Madrid, with classes from 2 to
18 years old. We have students from more than 45 different nationalities who,
from the first day, learn English with native teachers. For us, the most
important thing is that each child reaches their own maximum potential and aims
for excellence so that they have all the tools they need to excel in the future.
The last two years our students from 17 to 18 years old pursue the IB Diploma
programme in English that will help them access to Spanish or international
universities.

The IB baccalaureate program is great, it really prepares students to access the
university, and it is validated to apply to universities all over the world,
including Spain. I think it should be the baccalaureate that children from all
countries must take, it’s an excellent program. In addition, at St. George the
teachers are close and help the children to progress and have high results.

outside of it. I think it is very important that they look at the potential of
each child independently and help them reach their highest level, they also do

A BRITISH INTERNATIONAL
EDUCATION



The students follow the English National Curriculum as if they were in a school
in the U.K. We follow all the key principles of a British education, whilst
taking advantage of the environment and culture around us. This multicultural
atmosphere makes every student’s education unique as they also study the
compulsory subjects of Spanish Lengua and Sociales on a daily basis.
The last two years we offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, in
English.
Thanks to their thorough learning process, students can choose whether their
university
leaving is going abroad or if they prefer to stay in Spain.





NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHERS



Our teachers are all qualified to teach the English National Curriculum as well
the IB Diploma program. They are committed and dedicated professionals,
enthusiastic about their subjects. They work tirelessly to support the students
in developing their potential and are trained to provide an individualised
educational programme. Our aim is to instil in the children a lifelong love of
learning.





ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE



The academic standard of our school is high and there is a serious approach to
study with a determination to get the best out of each student. We create the
conditions for effective learning by insisting that all children follow clear
codes of conduct, based on respect for fellow pupils, staff, property and the
environment.

THE BEST FACILITIES



We are located on two and a half hectares in Madrid Norte N1; we have the best
facilities with a 25-meter pool, sports areas, a soccer field, specialized
classrooms for each educational stage, laboratories, music and art classrooms,
playground area, library, kitchen and dining room.




The admission process is open throughout the year

The admissions process remains open all year. Due to the new circumstances, we
will contact you through email, telephone or video conferencing and answer any
questions you may have on your search for the best school for your children.

Primary Talent Show

Our students in reception and primary have been showcasing their skills in our
talent show. This was a great opportunity to recognise talent, build confidence
and bring the St George Madrid community together. All of our finalists were
excellent and the judges had some tough decisions to make, but well done to
those children in…

World Book Day and Storytelling Week

Our students had an excellent day sharing their favourite stories and taking
part in lots of fun activities. They loved coming into school dressed as their
favourite character and joining the celebration to promote the enjoyment of
