As the only independent and physician-led faculty practice plan of the
University of Tennessee Health Science Center, University Clinical Health (UCH)
offers best-in-class clinical care through a network of more than 175 providers
across 19 specialties to meet the healthcare needs of the Mid-South community.
From Family Medicine practitioners to board-certified doctors in specialties
such as Dermatology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Podiatry and much more, our
network of care provides the most personalized and holistic care to patients of
all ages. As faculty members of the University of Tennessee Health Science
Center, our providers are bolstered by the strong partnership with the medical
university and have access to the latest technologies and medical advancements
to meet the unique needs of the Memphis community.

The Doctors

University Clinical Health has more than 175 renowned providers experienced in a
wide variety of disciplines, from excellence in plastic surgery and
ophthalmology to providing care to critically ill and premature infants at Le
Bonheur Children’s Hospital and the Sheldon B. Korones Newborn Center at
Regional One Health. From nephrology care in hospitals and dialysis centers to
the highest quality family practice, addiction medicine and dermatology at our
own clinical practice offices, University Clinical Health physicians offer
primary and specialty care across the Mid-South. Our physicians serve on the
faculty at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, providing them
with access to cutting-edge medical research and the latest medical treatments,
and their patients with the best and most current care available. Many of our
physicians have also been recognized nationally for their contributions to their
respective fields by publications such as Best Doctors in America® and America’s
Top Doctors®. All of our doctors are recognized experts in their fields and

The Group

University Clinical Health is the largest UTHSC affiliated practice plan and the
largest non-hospital physician group in Memphis.  The physicians of UCH work at
over 30 sites, internal and external, in Greater Memphis and the Mid-South
including Regional One Hospital, Methodist University Hospital, LeBonheur
Children’s Hospital, Baptist Memphis Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital. UCH physicians treat more than 120,000
patients each year and provide critical, primary, and long-term care for those
in need. UCH was founded in 1983 as a 501(c)(3) Tennessee not-for-profit
organization, and operates under the legal entity UT Medical Group, Inc.,
registered doing business as University Clinical Health, since 2016.

Our affiliation with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center gives the
physicians at University Clinical Health access to the latest treatments,
special protocols and labs, as well as a broad spectrum of professionals with
advanced degrees in nursing, nutrition, pharmacology, and more.This involvement
benefits not only our patients’ treatments, but keeps our physicians at the top
