Bharati Vidyapeeth University, bi-annually organizes International Conference on
Nanotechnology, ‘NANOCON’ dedicated to the aspects of Nano Technology and
Materials. The 4th edition of the International Conference ‘NANOCON 020’ is

HON’BLE DR. PATANGRAO KADAM

I offer a very warm welcome to all the Scholar Delegates from India
and abroad participating in the International Conference Nano-018 being
organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune.

Our College of Engineering at Pune is one of our leading Institutions of which
we are immensely proud. It is now being recognized as a throbbing center of
academic activities including research, academic innovations, mega academic
events such as international conferences, seminars and the like at the national
level.

The college has earlier organized three international conferences on "Nano
Technology" in the years 2010, 2012 and 2014, sequentially this Nanocon 018 now.
As all of us are aware that the developments in the fields of Nano Sciences and
Nano Technology are going to cause revolutionary changes in all the fields
encompassing our day-to-day life. I am happy that the College is giving very
enthusiastic response to this developing area of research and knowledge.

I am greatly impressed by the fact that the College is organizing this
conference in collaboration with several other renowned overseas academic
Institutions such as North Carolina A & T State University (NCAT), Greensboro,
USA, Tuskegee University, Alabama and The University of Tokushima, Japan.

I would like to congratulate Dr. Anand Bhalerao, Principal of this College and
his colleagues for taking initiative in organizing this fourth international
conference on this important theme. This conference I am sure will provide a
very appropriate platform for knowledge sharing among the experts from both
India and abroad.

As the Founder of Bharati Vidyapeeth and the Chancellor of this University, I
would very much like this College to be a leading center of teaching and
research in Nano Science and Nano Technology.

I as the chancellor of this University offer a very cordial welcome
to the distinguished Scholars participating in this 4th International Conference
on Nanotechnology - Applications Advances and Innovations" entitled "Nanocon 018
being organized by our College of Engineering in Pune on 18-19th October, 2018.
I am immensely impressed by the splendid achievement of the College of getting
the collaboration and cooperation from several overseas globally recognized
academic Institutions like North Carolina A & T State University (NCAT),
Greensboro, USA, the Tuskegee University, Alabama, USA, the University of
Tokushima, Japan for organizing this Conference. I greatly appreciate the
initiative taken by Prin. Dr. Anand Bhalerao and his colleagues.

The coming decade shall witness a surge in the development of smart materials
and applications in Nanotechnology encompassing all areas of cross disciplinary
science and technology sector. In fact, it is the Nanotechnological knowledge
and its constant upgradation that will play an important role in moulding the
future of our country. The Conference will focus on Innovative Materials,
Processes, Products and Applications and also on a broad spectrum of related
issues. It will play a pivotal role by providing an intellectually provocative
forum for expression of new ideas and also for sharing views among the
participants, who include renowned Academicians, R & D Executives, Scientists,
Engineers and Industrialists from the national and international fraternity. All
of them are actively involved in the field of Nano technology. The outcome of
the Conference will be useful in various ways and will provide necessary impetus
for the future research and development.

Our University has a distinct record of achievements in the field of
teaching,training and research. It has always been active in establishing
collaborative linkages with reputed Industries, international academic
institutions and national R & D organizations for achieving excellence in all
the academic activities including teaching and research.

I very sincerely appreciate the initiative and efforts taken by Principal Dr.
Anand Bhalerao, his colleagues in organizing this important conference. I
gratefully acknowledge the valuable support, co-operation and guidance given by
various participating industries and institutions in the gigantic task of
organising this Conference.

I feel indeed very happy to learn that Bharati Vidyapeeth
University's College of Engineering , Pune is organizing the 4th International
Conference "Nanocon 018 on 18-19 October, 2018 .The academic dynamism of the
university and of the college is reflected in the fact that this particular
Conference is being organized in the emerging discipline of Nanotechnology and
Nanosciences. I still remember very vividly the earlier two such successful
International Conferences organized by this college in 2010 and 2014.

The increasing multi dimensional importance of Nanotechnology and the immense
benefits that can be derived from its use for national development cannot be
over emphasized. A distinct feature of Nano Technology is that it covers areas
across different disciplines and deals with the matter at both micro and macro
levels. The conference in my opinion has a special significance in the national
context because it is going to provide an opportunity to various industries and
academic institutions to come together and explore the untamed possibilities of
Nano Science technology. I am sure, it will be possible for the academicians and
industry experts from India and abroad participating in this conference to
interact with each other extensively, deliberate on various inter related
issues, exchange ideas and share knowledge with each other for developing a
common vision for the future development of Nano - Technology in our country.

It is a matter of great pride for us that Bharati Vidyapeeth University and
Bharati Vidyapeeth have been fast expanding their academic horizons and are
bringing newer and newer fields of knowledge under their gamut. I also
appreciate their effort in providing the students with continuously updated
knowledge and acquainting them with newer technologies. On behalf of Bharati

NANOCON 014, NANOCON 012 and NANOCON 010, organized by Bharati Vidyapeeth
University in association with North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State
University Greensboro, USA, and Tuskegee University Alabama, USA had stupendous
success in terms of Technical Content, Active Participation, Good Deliberations,
Positive Response and above all, an example of an overall efficient Management
System consisting of effective team work. From all the research papers presented
at this conference, selected ones were published in the IEEE Transactions of
