The transnational consortium of the project is composed of three organizations: ECECT from Cyprus, SkillsZone from Malta, and Digital Idea from Greece, all with valuable experience in the technological industry, innovation, and entrepreneurship, who aim to engage with a variety of target groups such as unemployed individuals, unskilled employees, long-term unemployed individuals and generally people who want to be informed and guided on various technologies and other skills. These skills are necessary to participate in social and cultural life, keep up to date with current developments, take care of their health, carry out everyday tasks such as online shopping and bookings, combat loneliness and alleviate isolation. It also aims to collect transferable best practice models of training providers and training courses that were able to overcome these barriers and successfully engage senior citizens in acquiring or expanding their digital skills. People with disabilities often cannot travel on their own because the communication barriers they encounter are too pervasive: information is not in easy-to-read language, announcements are only broadcast with audio, "wheelchair-friendly" hotel rooms have mirrors and sinks that are impossible to reach. These are just a few examples of impediments that people with disabilities face when traveling, in luxury establishments but not only. All workers in the tourism sector, thanks to the T4proIN project, will be able to learn how to offer more inclusive services for different types of disabilities (more or less obvious). All users will also be able to have an instant view of the accessible places closest to them thanks to a handy digital map and, once on site, express their comments on the forum.
