COURSE SUMMARY

The Machine Learning Cockpit for SAP Business ByDesign is the implementation of
a standard machine learning workflow within the SAP Business ByDesign user
interface. The Machine Learning Cockpit brings predictive capabilities to SAP
Business ByDesign by utilizing the power of the Predictive Analysis Library
(PAL) within the SAP HANA database. The tool allows users to create predictive
scenarios by using data from business analytics data sources, on which PAL
machine learning algorithms try to learn the model in the training process. This
model can be applied to new data to make actual predictions. The predictions can
then be consumed directly in SAP Business ByDesign business documents, in
business analytics, or in PDI solutions (through the provided API).

In this course, you’ll learn how to use the Machine Learning Cockpit within SAP
Business ByDesign to create, train, and implement predictive scenarios
end-to-end. After a short introduction, you’ll learn about machine learning
essentials, the use of data sources, as well as configuration and authorization.
The following units cover the three focus areas, where you’ll learn everything
you need to know about scenarios, models, and predictions.

Product Management for SME team. She leads multiple teams of highly qualified
product managers to define and create the product strategy for SAP ERP for SME
as well as the Intelligent Enterprise for SME.

Simona is an innovation leader and a powerful advocate of the SAP Intelligent
Enterprise storyline, adapting and implementing SAP intelligent technologies to
the realities of small and medium enterprises.

DALIBOR KNIS

Dalibor Knis is product management lead for the Machine Learning Cockpit. He has
been working in the SME ERP area for more than 20 years.

A former physicist and programmer and now a machine learning enthusiast, Dalibor
tries to bridge the gap between the technical world of data science and the
business-oriented world of ERP systems.

Sara Kazmi is part of the SME Product Management team for Intelligent Processes.
She supports the team in adapting and implementing artificial intelligence
technology in ERP for SAP Business ByDesign.

Kopal Jauhari is a product owner and senior developer for SAP Business
ByDesign, focusing on the areas of machine learning, incident management, and
the BTM framework. She has designed, developed, and delivered many new features
for machine learning and other frameworks in SAP Business ByDesign.

Kopal works closely with Product Management to understand customer requirements
and create valuable features for customers. She also holds trainings for new
hires at SAP, supporting them as they begin their careers.
