WHAT IS CONTACT COMMUNITY SERVICES?





Contact Community Services Inc. is a Central New York not for profit agency that
supports the social, emotional, behavioral and mental health of children, youth,
and adults. We deliver this support through three broad program areas: Crisis
and Suicide Prevention; School Support Services; and Training and Education.




OUR HISTORY



Contact Community Services began in 1971 as a 24-hour telephone counseling and
crisis hotline staffed entirely by volunteers. We have changed a lot since then

Empowering people at every age through compassionate support, our mission is to
provide a lifeline for individuals in crisis, fostering mental well-being across
communities. We are dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health education,
offering a safe space where hope and healing thrive. 




OUR VISION



A world where every individual, irrespective of age or circumstance, experience
resilience, connection, and mental well-being. We envision a community where our
proactive suicide prevention initiatives and comprehensive mental health
programs in schools create a ripple effect of understanding, support, and
empowerment, cultivating a society that values and nurtures mental health for
all.
