My work is focused on accelerating the connection between biological and
artificial consciousness through Neuroimaging and Machine Learning techniques;
as well as AI/BCI alignment.


At Occidental College, I am currently running human trials to prove the efficacy
of a novel fNIRS-based method of Neurofeedback.


fNIRS stands for “Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy”, and lets me use lasers
to see what’s happening inside your brain.


Nothing interesting nor important is ever created in a vacuum, and I’m always
excited to share my work for others to build upon.


While many of my projects rely on funding that limits my ability to make them
open source, I try to publish everything I can as soon as possible.


break.Gen is one of my current passion projects. It is a program that takes any
song and produces a Drum and Bass / BreakCore remix using machine learning and
custom audio signal processing.


Broadly, I am interested in the intersection of brain-computer-interfaces,
virtual reality, and new paradigms of machine learning and intelligence.


The singularity is quickly approaching, and we are unlikely to have enough time
to prepare. As such, I believe those of us conducting research at the cutting
edge have a responsibility to contribute to increased equity by creating
frameworks that allow for the flourishing of inter-planetary human life.
