MANAGE YOUR AMAZON KIDS PROFILES, CONTENT, AND FEATURES

Manage personalized Amazon Kids profiles, content, and features on compatible
Amazon devices and Parent Dashboard.




MANAGE YOUR AMAZON KIDS PROFILE

To use Amazon Kids features, add a child profile to your Amazon Household
(Manage Your Household). After setup, you can remove or edit the child profile
as needed.

 * The birth date in the Child Profile ensures that children only see
   age-appropriate content.
 * You need a parental controls PIN to manage and exit Amazon Kids.
 * If you forget your parental controls PIN, reset it by deregistering and
   registering your device from Manage Your Content and Devices page.
    * Tip: If you're unable to deregister your Amazon device or if it doesn’t
      get connected to the internet, reset it to factory defaults. Back up your
      device before resetting. After a factory reset, all account information
      and downloaded content get deleted.




MANAGE CONTENT IN YOUR AMAZON KIDS PROFILE

Note: Child profiles inactive for more than 18 months get removed automatically.
After its removal, you’ll no longer be able to access it. To manage or remove
inactive child profiles, go to your child profile's information page at:
https://www.amazon.com/manage-your-profiles.



Amazon Kids enables your child to access the content and features you or another
adult in your Amazon Household authorize.

To find titles, explore different rows like Books, Movies, and Videos. Select
See All for more options. You can also search for titles manually.

To monitor recent activity, manage content, and adjust Kids calling feature
settings, use the Parent Dashboard (Parent Dashboard).


MANAGE FEATURES AND DEVICE USAGE

Within Amazon Kids Parent Dashboard, you can set Daily Goals & Time Limits for:

 * Weekdays / Weekends - Different educational goals and time limits for
   weekdays and weekends.
 * Bedtime - Set turn-off time for Amazon Kids by selecting Turn-off By. Use
   Stay off Until to set when your child can use Amazon Kids again.
 * Educational Goals - Set time-bound goals for educational content. If you want
   your child to meet their education goals first, filter out noneducational by
   selecting the Learn First checkbox.
 * Learn First: With Learn First, block access to games and cartoons until after
   your child meets educational goals. For devices with the Bedtime feature
   enabled, control when Amazon Kids shuts down for the day.
 * Total Screen Time - Limit your child's overall time in Amazon Kids.
 * Time by Activity - Set time limits for specific activities, like reading
   books. Slide the bar all the way to the right for unlimited time.
 * Age Filters: The age filters recommended for your child based on their date
   of birth determine the titles shown in Amazon Kids+. To learn more, see
   Amazon Kids Age Filters FAQs.
 * Web Browser: You can manage and review your child's web browser permissions
   and activities. To access these features, go to Web within your selected
   child profile settings.
