Naglasak je Konferencije na pravilnom upravljanju otpadom kao i osiguravanju njegovog adekvatnog zbrinjavanja. . KONFERENCIJA BEYOND PLASTIC HRVATSKA ORGANIZIRA SE U SKLOPU PROJEKTA „FOR PLASTIC FREE CROATIAN ISLAND“ KOJEG PROVODI UDRUGA SUNCE SPLIT U SURADNJI SA PROJEKTNIM PARTNERIMA Projekt je započeo 01.10.2020. i traje do 31.09.2022. Opći cilj projekta je doprinos smanjenju upotrebe jednokratne plastike, kao i smanjenju onečišćenja plastikom u Jadranskom i Sredozemnom moru, implementacijom mjera održivog gospodarenja otpadom koje se temelji na principima smanji, ponovno koristi, recikliraj. Projekt financira The Beyond Med Association“ (www.beyondplasticmed.org). Nositelj projekta je Udruga za prirodu, okoliš i održivi razvoj Sunce, a partneri su Grad Stari Grad (Otok Hvar), Općina Sali (Otok Dugi Otok) i Zelena akcija. Suradnici na projektu su SMILO, Inicijativa za Zlarin bez plastike, a projekt podržava World Wide Fund for Nature. . CILJEVI I TEME KONFERENCIJE Ciljevi konferencije su: . * Razmjena znanja i dostupnih informacija o gospodarenju otpadom, upotrebi jednokratne plastike i razini zagađenja plastikom. * Izgradnja partnerstava i jačanje kapaciteta sudionika za provedbu održivog gospodarenja otpadom, smanjenje upotrebe jednokratne plastike i onečišćenja plastikom u Sredozemnom moru. * Poticanje primjene principa smanji, ponovo koristi, recikliraj u gospodarenju otpadom * Implementacija preporuka i mjera za oblikovanje i unaprjeđenje zakonodavnih okvira u održivom gospodarenju otpadom. Teme konferencije su: . * Društvo, pojedinac i otpad * Morski otpad * Javne politike i gospodarenje otpadom * Kružna ekonomija i tehnologije obrade otpada * Poslovni sektor i gospodarenje otpadom Na Konferenciji će biti predstavljeni projektni rezultati, stručni radovi radovi od strane relevantnih stručnjaka i primjeri dobre prakse iz područja gospodarenja otpadom. Smještaj i putne troškove osiguravamo za 25 sudionika. Prednost imaju osobe koje prijave znanstvene radove iz područja tema koje su zadane. Registracija je otvorena do 01.06.2022. godine.
