It is my privilege to extend a very warm welcome to Excalibur Primary School.

At our school, our vision is to:

nurture and develop resilient, life-long learners who are caring and
responsible, enabling them to achieve their own individual excellence.

We pride ourselves on our happy, friendly and caring atmosphere and have high
aspirations for every child. At Excalibur, our approach to learning is
child-centred, inclusive and is focused on the development of the whole child,
both socially and academically. We recognise that children are uniquely
different - all possessing different skills and abilities. At Excalibur, we
nurture the talents of individuals and celebrate their efforts and achievements.

We provide an environment that is stimulating, challenging and a place where
children feel it is safe to learn from their mistakes. Our learning culture is
one of pride, self-motivation and resilience. From their start in Reception, we
encourage the children to develop enquiring minds with the independence and
determination to succeed at all they set their minds to and take pride in their
achievements. We want our children to leave us as confident, independent and
well-rounded young people, ready to seize the opportunities that lie ahead of
them.

We understand the importance of excellent home/school partnerships and for this
reason, encourage parental input into their child's education. We operate an
open door policy and are open to new ideas and suggestions.

Please take the time to explore our website, we hope that you find the
information useful. Should you have any further queries, please contact us.
