HOW IT ALL STARTED?

DAY 1

Started with a mission to create one hard hat story video every day. I
encountered Terry, a 53-year-old carpenter, by chance as I was walking down the
streets of downtown Toronto. I observed him constructing a massive home, and I
approached him to inquire if he would be interested in sharing his story. He
declined just two minutes into our conversation, but I persisted and managed to
persuade him 45 minutes later. He then provided me with his number and
instructed me to meet him the following day at 1 pm. I did, and I filmed my
first video!


DAY 5

I struggled to find people to shoot with, facing constant rejection on the
streets. Determined to change this, I made it a routine to be at Starbucks every
day from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, aiming to capture the attention of construction
workers before they could even grab their morning coffee. This approach yielded
some success, but one individual suggested, "I see you at Starbucks every day
networking, which is great, but have you considered trying Home Depot?"


DAY 13

Kept showing up everyday at home depot from 6:00AM to 12:00PM trying to find
hard hats to shoot with. It worked!























DAY 34

Shot with 20+ hard hats and still going.
