STILL HAS SIGNAL ISSUES

I don’t hand out 1 stars lightly. But with persistent Wi-Fi and cell signal
drop outs, slow performance, judder, and other issues, I absolutely cannot
recommend this phone. I’ve now purchased 2 identical Ultra phones. One at
launch and another in May, both have the issues. Other users have reported
the issue or perhaps don’t notice. Either way, this is unacceptable. Samsung
needs to do more than keep telling users to factory reset it or RMA to have
the same issue. For now it’s back to Apple, which works fine.

GREAT FEATURES POOR DESIGN. HATE CURVED SCREEN!

I have had Samsung flagship phones every few years since the Note 3.
PROS:
S-pen notes and screen and photo writing.
Speed.
Battery life.
Camera.
Android.
CONS:
I absolutely HATE the curved screens.
The worst part is it doesnt allow for good screen protectors and the few
available are too complicated, too expensive, and inferior to the older flat
high end glass ones. Most cases are made with low profile screen side
protection which greatly limits protection. Just raise all 4 sides!
The curved screen is too sensitive no matter what you do without a case and
serve NO functional purpose! STOP MAKING CURVED SCREENS. It's so
inconsiderate and pointless!
Samsung updates made all notifications the same. You can't only recieve
important ones. They are ALL ON or ALL OFF. I don't care about emails
because we get too many unimportant ones.
My phone no longer shows new messages on the app icons.
Super-high resolution pics and videos are impossible to share and difficult
to downgrade.

Samsung has made updates to slow phone charging dramatically than was normal
in 2021. I never had a battery problem before under any circumstance or
temperature.
All the raised cameras are hard to protect.

A PIECE OF JUNK - IS THE NICEST THING I CAN SAY

I've had a Samsung Galaxy phone since I've had a cell phone. This will be my
last. An expensive piece of junk. It has a mind of its own. It shuts down by
itself, while it's being used. Apps appear and disappear. Features that I've
set for apps get changed - by themselves. Photos are not nearly as great as
you expect after all the hype. Too many Samsung apps that you can't get rid
of. You get the feeling Samsung is controlling your life.

LACKING CERTAIN QC ASPECTS

I have tried 2 different s22 ultras out.
First one I have returned and ordered a 2nd one, assuming that the first was
defective. I am not returning this one as well.
It has major connection issues. It doesn't happen all of the time, but
sometimes this phones network speed will drop tremendously, even when the
network source is at optimum speed.
Half the time, I can't even get things (that are online) to load on 5G.
And on wifi, it's very inconsistent.

My final straw was having my note 20 ultra and the s22 ultra both connected
to my wifi at home.
I ran a speed test on my s22 ultra, then on my note 20 ultra.

note 20 ultra: 876 MBPS down / 34 MBPS up
S22 ultra: 1 MBPS down/ > 1 MBPS up.
Major flaw on 2 separate, brand new s22 ultras

Not to mention, they've implemented a service that prevents your phone from
getting too hot while gaming. The issue is that the way thus works is that
it drastically reduces the performance of said game to keep your phone cool.
You can disable this feature, but then the phone runs ridiculously hot.
I'm not sure what the Extra power in this phone is for if you have to
restrict it, just so it doesn't catch fire.

TERRIBLE, EXPENSIVE, NO CHARGER, FREEZES AND MORE

I had it for 1 month. Trade in mu note 20 ultra worst thing ive done, the
phone freezes,its slow,battery drains to fast even on 4g, camera
sucks,overall terrible. BRING BACK THE NOTE!!!!

RACING STRIPE

my phone is less than a month old and has developed a multicolored strip on
the left side of the screen about 3/16 of an inch wide very bright and
covers one or two letters of text, I would very much appreciate a
replacement phone without a racing stripe on the screen

UNHAPPY WITH PURCHASE

No adapter with this purchase, POOR battery life and hyper sensitive screen.
There is also no extendable storage. However, that rating is for the battery
life.

DISAPPOINTED - CAMERA/MOTHERBOARD ISSUES

After a few weeks of use, I started getting an error when using the frontal
camera (Camera Failed) and the application stopped. I thought was a software
issue so I tried a lot of fixes recommended by Samsung specialists (delete
cache using safe mode, uninstalling last apps installed, etc.) and the issue
was still happening (not always but was frequently). I also noted the device
rebooted by itself a few times.

I took it technical service; they ran a diagnostic where they identified the
phone was having issues with the Motherboard so they changed it 3 days ago,
I hope that fixes the camera issue.

I've had own almost all the previous versions of Galaxy (S2, S4, S6, S7, S8,
S9, S10+, S20 ultra, and the S21ultra). This is the first time I have had an
issue like this and I was expecting better support from Samsung. They
should've changed the whole phone not just the motherboard but they insist
they just do replacements within 15 days. 15 days is not enough to identify
issues like this one, I spent more than 2 weeks applying and testing the
fixes recommended by them, some of them fixed the issue for a few days but
it always came back.

I've read more complaints about the camera failing with this device, If is a
fabric issue Samsung should be replacing the devices not just replacing
pieces.
