WHAT IS A SILENT DISCO?



A silent disco or silent rave is an event where people dance to music listened
to on wireless headphones Rather than using a  speaker system. music is
broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless
headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear
no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing.

In the earliest days of silent discos, before 2005, there would be only one
channel available to listen to music through. Over time, the technology moved
along to where there were two, and later technology allowed for a third channel
that three separate DJs could broadcast over at the same time.

Silent discos are popular at music festivals, rooftop clubs, beaches, backyards
theme parks, streets events as they allow dancing to continue past noise
curfews. More importantly you can have multiple dj's playing different genres of
music at the same time at the same location.

what the "other" group is singing or dancing to, simply change the channel and
join in!


WHY A SILENT PARTY?



Imagine throwing a party with up to 3 DJ's playing 3 different genres of music
of your choice, all at the same time on the same dancefloor! Essentially giving
you 3 different dance parties at one location! You can continually switch
between the Green, Red & Blue channels all night. You can't do this with a
conventional sound system. Sure, Loud music is fun and so is pumping bass, but
im sure your neighbors won't like it. And you certantly cant have 3 DJ's Mixing
different genres of music at the same time with a conventional sound system.

Block Parties need a Silent Disco, even if you only want one DJ. Backyard
Parties need silence too! Keep the kids busy while the adults talk and act like
adults OR have a separate DJ playing music for the adults on a different
channel. Even a wedding can have a Silent Disco while the Wedding band is
playing! A Silent Disco can happen any time or any place! Bus Train Plane Boat!
Rooftop Bars or Clubs. And think of an awesome Beach Party Silent Disco! Our
headphones have Great Sound, Crystal Clear Highs, Clean Midrange and Pumping
Bass, and if its too loud, simply lower the volume, you have complete control.
and Yes, we do disinfect each pair of headphones after every use.


COMPLETE CONTROL



At a "normal" event you are at the mercy of the DJ. He usually wants it loud,
very loud! I know this because Im a DJ and trust me I LOVE IT LOUD! During the
event you can ask me to lower it, but that usually just make me say something
sarcastic to you and then I raise the volume in a few minutes anyway. In my
defense, its usually the guy directly in front of the speakers asking me to
lower it because hes trying to "hook up". OK i get that, but can u move off of
the dancefloor? No i cant move because i also want to dance with this person.
(are you feeling my pain yet?) You can also ask me to change the music. Now, as
a DJ I really do like requests, but cmon if im Rockin-the-House in one genre,
how can you expect me to do a 180 and flip it for you...and literally right
now??

At a Silent Disco Event you have complete control of the volume level of your
headphones. Don't like the music? Flip the switch and change the channel, as
long as theres another DJ there and even another DJ there! Having the headphones
on makes you think "How am i going to meet someone or talk to someone?" Believe
it or not these Silent Discos are very social, pop one ear out of the headphone,
or take them off, guess what? Its quiet there you can actually talk! I suggest
taking off only one ear so u can still hear the music and dance and talk!

WHO ARE WE?



We are Westchester's ONLY locally owned & operated Silent Disco Company, headed
up by DJ Vinnie Campisi.

Instead of using a traditional sound system to play music on the dance floor,
our DJ will hand out Wireless Headphones to all your guests. He then plays music
as normal, but the sound is delivered live to everyone's headphones instead of a
speaker system, giving all the ability to adjust and even mute the volume to
suit their needs. EVERYONE is suddenly dancing, laughing and singing loudly!

Using Special High Quality Headphones with booming bass, crystal clear highs and
clean smooth midrange, we can provide up to 3 different channels of music with 3
different DJ's, playing 3 different genres of your choice, all at 1 Location at
1 time! You can have 3 parties going at 1 time!

These headphones have 3 selectable channels on them. During the party you can
constantly switch between the different channels to select what music you want
