Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort was built with intent to be an
eco‐friendly facility and targeted to achieve LEED Silver Certification. This
intent was carried forward in developing effective design and management
strategies to minimize the impact on the surrounding environment during
construction and operational phase of the project.

Main Eco-Friendly Features:

High Energy performance through highly insulated building envelope and high
performance low e‐glazing

Optimized performance through efficient water cooled centrifugal chillers and
VFDs in secondary pumping system, cooling tower fans and FAHUs

Potable water reduction through selection of water efficient fixtures

Energy efficient lighting fixtures

10% of materials contain recycle content

20% of the materials used in construction were sourced regionally

More than 85% of construction waste diverted from landfill

Adhesives, sealants, paints and coatings contain low or no Volatile Organic
Content (VOC)

57% reduction in potable water consumption for irrigation due to efficient
landscaping, use of native species and drip irrigation systems

 

In addition to the above, our day to day operations is committed to taking small
steps to minimize water and energy consumption and reduce waste. These include:

Heart of House recycling of plastic, cans and paper. Printers in administration
offices are programmed for double-sided printing.


CFL lighting in the heart of the house to illuminate corridors.

Building management system to control indoor air quality.

Automatic system for energy management.

Heat Recovery Systems are used to control emissions and avoid wasting energy.

Implemented effective energy and water monitoring system to optimized building
operations needs

Participating in Earth Hour to promote energy conservation and raise awareness.

Introducing water dispensers in restaurants to minimize the use of plastic
bottles.

Implementing the use of sugarcane straws in our outlets as a sustainable
alternative.

Incorporating Byredo products in shower amenities to promote eco-friendly
practices.

Spearheading a comprehensive zero waste initiative: Introducing food wastage
monitoring system to reduce food wastage.

Participating in beach cleaning activities to preserve the coastal ecosystem.

Encouraging guests to walk to nearby destinations, promoting sustainable
transportation practices and reducing carbon emissions.

     UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD
     
     While the stay was average the experience was dominated by an unauthorized
     charge on my credit card. They charge was made by the hotel but they could
     not produce a receipt for the charge showing what it was for. They just
     kept repeating that it was not them when it was clearly from the hotel.

         stay in February with us.
         Unfortunately, we do not have any record of the mentioned charge and we
         have been trying to get further details/ charge receipts from your side
         on several occasions.
         I have tried to get in touch with you personally in March in an effort
         of solving this matter and regret that I did not receive a response
         from your side.
         You may have used other services on property such as for instance the
         ATM.

     Hello! We rested in your hotel for the third year. Unfortunately, this year
     the cuisine offered by your restaurant was at an average level. I was
     vacationing with three children, but for breakfast the children refused to
     eat porridge, which was cooked in water and was tasteless. All ten days the
     children ate adult food. Unfortunately, there are absolutely no dishes for
     children. There were no cottage cheese casseroles, and generally few dishes
     with cottage cheese. At lunch or dinner, the proposed puree soup was spicy
     and unsuitable for baby food. The kids only ate omelettes for breakfast and
     French fries for dinner. I would like your menu to include kebab, escalope
     fish, non-spicy puree soup, eggplant dish.In general, the stay was good,
     but the cuisine leaves much to be desired. Thank you!
