TRAINING COURSE

Injection Moulding: Design Fundamentals

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This training course is designed for engineers and designers with a basic
understanding of injection moulding part design to further their understanding
of how to design for injection moulding parts, considering manufacturability and
aesthetics to design more effective and cost-efficient parts.

This injection moulding course is available for free, with all materials
provided upfront, meaning you can learn at your own pace. Some of the course
material is also offered in video or text format too, so you can "watch now" or
"read more" dependent on your preference and learning style.

This course qualifies for CPD points and average time to complete all
self-learning material is 9 hours.

BENEFITS OF THIS COURSE:

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

→ Gain a better understanding of how to design for injection moulding to enhance
part design, reduce defects, and support budget and time constraints

→ Provides practical guidelines and tips which you can apply to future part
design

→ Self-learning material provided upfront so you can complete the course to fit
your own time-frame

→ CPD certification gained upon completion to support your professional
development and registration

→ How to design better parts suited for the injection moulding process

→ How to deal with complex moulding design issues

→ How to foresee defects and counteract these before moving to manufacture

→ Tips and tricks to ensure your injection moulded parts meet your budget
criteria

→ How to transition your design from prototype to production
