NORTHSIDE SAFETY NET BRINGS ON NEW INTERNS

Northside Safety NET has welcomed eight new interns and welcomed back five
interns from the original cohort for this year of programming. Learn more about

LINE 

A recent return-on-investment study of dairy operations in central Minnesota
found that profitability and environmental stewardship are complimentary. The
study analyzed 10 farms and found that on average the farms demonstrated
improved environmental and financial outcomes compared to benchmarks.

REACH FARMERS FASTER

Are you trying to engage farmers in conservation agriculture? We teamed up with
Trust in Food to better understand what it takes to accelerate producers’
voluntary engagement with conservation agriculture programs. Backed by research,
our new tool provides organizations engaged in conservation agriculture
initiatives with a step-by-step process to apply to outreach efforts.

CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT FOR WATER

Through the Source Water Protection Collaborative, Environmental Initiative has
facilitated an artist residency aimed at empowering rural community members to
safeguard their drinking water and at engaging local government to join them in
