Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Saturday chastised New York City Mayor Eric
Adams for his plan to offer migrants in the city pre-paid credit cards.

The initiative aims to assist migrants with food expenses as they await work
authorization from the federal government. Cards will only work at bodegas,
grocery stores, supermarkets and convenience stores.

Jackson said on Instagram he struggled to understand the mayor’s intentions
behind the move.

> WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works [shrug emoji]
> somebody explain,” Jackson wrote to his 31 million Instagram followers.

Jackson added that the situation is giving him a clearer view of his 2024
presidential pick.

“@Arimelber can’t explain this I’m stuck,” Jackson said, tagging the MSNBC
journalist. “maybe TRUMP is the answer. [facepalm emoji].”

The now-deleted post earned at least 35,000 likes and 8,000 comments within two
hours. Commenters cheered the move via X, the platform formerly known as Twitter

> First Snoop, now 50 Cent,” conservative commentator Vince Manfeld said.
> “Ridin' With Biden is turning into Stump For Trump, fast.”

Manfeld's comment refers to a recent statement made by rapper Snoop Dogg in
which he declared “nothing but love” for former President Donald Trump.

50 Cent continues to grow more vocal in opposition of major Democrats. The
rapper in October slammed President Joe Biden for taking a trip to his beach
house during the Israel-Hamas war, saying “[eye emoji] hey Joe get the f--- up,
we in trouble man!”

He continued, saying “we got some real s--- going on out here Joe. what’s the
plan to get a tan and chill come on now.”

Taking aim at California Gov. Gavin Newsom, the rapper decried the state’s plan
to offer migrants health insurance.

“[eye emoji] I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars
for tax payers,” Jackson said via Instagram. “They don’t even give veterans
health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this s---.
[shrug emoji] WTF.”
