 REWIND


This is my last track for quite a while. I've been immersing myself in making
music for the past two years, publishing 33 tracks and producing countless
others. It's been an intense journey of uncovering my passion for electronic
music.

rewind has been quite a ride. I dug deep into my personal memories, retrieved
repressed images from the depths of my backyard, let past voices speak inside of
me, and wrapped it all up in one single track.

I have reached the destination this journey probably intended to take me to.

Should I especially thank Lucy E for lending me her voice? I wonder if she is
aware of the things she has sung for me.

 THE DRIFT


This track takes you straight to nirvana. A bit of trance, a bit of acid, a bit
of house, and this multicolor blend takes you along in the flow of ecstasy.
On the cover you are seeing my city, Bern, Switzerland, taken many years ago,
shortly after "Die Welle" of the main trainstation was inaugurated. The moon in
the picture was one of very first digital pictures I ever took.

She dreams of walking confidently through life. She would like to be like
everyone else around her, always thinking she is right. Will it be enough to
tell herself she's confident?

 FEARLESS FRIEND


Retro moods and synth melodies - this track throws a glance into past male
idols.
I remember very "unwoke” times, when male role models like Sylvester Stallone,
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Noris and many more appeared on the big screen.
Back then, those men were the real guys. With a gun in their hand - or maybe two
- these fearless friends defended or avenged innocent girls and boys from the
bad city.

 LE TRICOT


In memory of my recently deceased father, I have musically illustrated one of
his texts. For a long time I had the wish to realise a small musical project
together with him, the writer Jacques A. Bertrand, but his health no longer
allowed it. So this track came about spontaneously on the basis of an existing
recording. My heart goes with this track.

En mémoire de mon père récemment décédé, j'ai mis en musique un de ses textes.
Je souhaitais depuis longtemps réaliser un petit projet  avec lui, l'écrivain
Jacques A. Bertrand, mais sa santé ne le lui permettait plus. C'est pourquoi
cette composition est née spontanément à partir d'un enregistrement existant.
Mon cœur accompagne ce morceau.

 IN LIMINE - AT THE DOORSTEP


After many months of part-time producing, the time has finally come. I completed
my first album. It is a musical journey of emotions, marked by eventful times,
both in personal life as in the world that surrounds us.

In the midst of confinement, this album presented a journey into unreachable
places of hope, or as I call it: the Big Boom Kingdom. But not every king of
cheerfulness, no matter how praised, is an answer to our own longings.

Through misadventures, failures and unexpected turns, the very journey is the
actual answer, even if this realization leaves one speechless.

IH8U was composed on the very evening of the invasion of Ukraine. I dedicate
this one track to all psychopaths, dictators and disturbed narcissistic power
mongers, men and women in both politics and business.
