This month’s alumni spotlight is Jack Lee. Jack Lee attended Snow College as a
high school student in 1997 and 1998, and enjoyed the campus so much that he
enrolled full-time in 1999. He did not complete his associate’s degree until he
returned to Snow in 2017, and then graduated in 2018. One of Jack’s most
memorable moments at Snow was the first day of chemistry lab class in Richfield
when he realized there was a lab cadaver in the back of the classroom. Jack says
that Snow College helped mold foundational skills that he was able to utilize in
order to achieve some of his accomplishments later in life. Jack is currently
employed at Great Lakes Cheese in Fillmore, Utah as the Plant Manager.

Jack says of his time at Snow, “I took a long gap from my initial enrollment at
Snow to my eventual graduation in 2018. I just want to say that no matter what
difficulties you encounter in your life that may cause a detour, it’s never too
late to achieve your goals and persevere; keep setting goals and work on
accomplishing them.”

Thank you to all who came to meet me and my yellow couch yesterday in Ephraim!

We started the day with a conversation with Snow College Pres. Brad Cook and a
tour of campus by James of the President’s Leadership Council.

After our Yellow Couch meet and greet, we attended Samoa Culture Day in Moroni
and visited the Fairview Museum of History and Art.

We ended the day with the Box Elder GOP Lincoln Day Dinner. It was great to meet
so many community members throughout our weekend in Sanpete County. I value the
perspectives they shared with me and know that Utah families and businesses
would benefit greatly from better leadership!

driving to Ephraim Utah to play junior college football at Snow College! The
Badgers are getting a great linebacker and person.

Club Watt in Rotterdam, Sweden? The floor’s tiles each sit on springs hooked up
to generators. The harder people dance, the more the springs are compressed and
this converts into energy, which runs the LED lights in the floor.
