2. God’s words all possess power and authority, and are an expression of God’s
disposition

We all know that in the beginning, God used words to create the heavens, the
earth, and all things. The moment He uttered something, it came to be, just as
it says in Psalm 33:9: “For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it
stood fast.” In the age of the Old Testament, God promised that the descendants
of Abraham would be like the stars in the sky and the sand on the shore, and
everything happened just as God had promised. Even now, Abraham’s descendants
are in every corner of the world, and every single thing that God has said has
been fulfilled, one by one. In the Age of Grace, the winds and seas could be
calmed by a single utterance from the Lord Jesus, and with the words “Lazarus,
come forth” (John 11:43), Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, walked out

letter that the day of the Lord’s coming is near, and that you are intentionally
reading Scripture and praying more, and doing more work for the Lord so that you
can be one of the wise virgins who is vigilantly awaiting the Lord’s coming.
However, these things have not sharpened your spiritual acuity or increased your
faith or love for the Lord. You’re confused about whether you can be counted as

The seven thunders roll, shaking up the world, rending through the sky, changing
heaven and earth. Piercing is the sound. Where can man run and hide? Heaven and
earth are changed by thunder and lightning. Man lies dying. A fierce storm rolls
in across the universe, fast as thunderbolt; heavy rain pours in. Each corner of
the earth is bathed in this storm and nothing impure remains, oh, oh. The whole
world is washed and nothing unclean stands. Who can hide from the stormy rain?
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. When destruction comes, all enemies will fall, defeated
helpless into the raging torrent. They’re swiftly taken to their deserved end,

When I first believed in the Lord, my mother often told me time and again that
we believers in the Lord should hold onto the the name of the Lord Jesus all the
time, because the Scripture records, “Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be
saved” (Acts 4:12). So, we must never, ever abandon the name of the Lord Jesus;
whoever abandons or denies the name of the Lord Jesus cannot be saved. Besides,
when I went to the church to attend worship, our pastor also taught us in this
way. Since then, I started to memorize my mother and pastor’s words deeply in my

I was born into an ordinary farming family. Even though my family was not
wealthy, my father and mother loved each other and treated me very well. Our
family life was quite abundant and blessed. After I grew up, I told myself: I
must find a husband that will treat me well and I must establish a blissful and
happy family. This is what is most important. I do not seek riches, I only need
to have a loving relationship with my husband and a peaceful family life.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ESTABLISH A PROPER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

The way that people believe in God, love God, and satisfy God is by touching the
Spirit of God with their heart and thereby obtaining His satisfaction, and by
using their heart to engage with God’s words and thus being moved by the Spirit
of God. If you wish to achieve a proper spiritual life and establish a proper
relationship with God, then you must first give your heart to Him. Only after
you have quieted your heart before Him and poured your whole heart into Him will
you gradually be able to develop a proper spiritual life. If in people’s belief
in God, they do not give their heart to Him and if their heart is not in Him and
they do not treat His burden as their own, then everything they do is an act of
cheating God, an act typical of religious people, and cannot receive God’s
praise. God cannot gain anything from this kind of person; this kind of person
can only serve as a foil to God’s work, like a decoration in the house of God,
