UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE WEEKLY CLAIMS REPORT UPDATE United States Department of Labor sent this bulletin at 12/28/2023 08:32 AM EST You are subscribed to Unemployment Insurance Weekly Claims Report for the U.S. Department of Labor. This information has recently been updated. In the week ending December 23, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 218,000, an increase of 12,000 from the previous week's revised level. The previous week's level was revised up by 1,000 from 205,000 to 206,000. The 4-week moving average was 212,000, a decrease of 250 from the previous week's revised average.
