Massive Wagons Ignite Rock City with Explosive ‘Earth To Grace’ Tour Kickoff!

The opening night of Massive Wagons’ “Earth To Grace” tour at Rock City,
Nottingham, was nothing short of a rock ‘n’ roll spectacle. Frontman Baz Mills
declared Nottingham the perfect place to kick off the tour, and the energy in
the venue proved him right. The band was on fire, delivering what can only be
described as their best performance to date.









 WE HAVE BEEN TRACKING THE RISE OF MASSIVE WAGONS FOR YEARS, AND IT’S CLEAR
THEY’VE COME A LONG WAY SINCE THEIR EARLY DAYS ON THE FESTIVAL CIRCUIT IN DERBY.
LAST NIGHT, THEY WERE AT THE PINNACLE OF THEIR GAME, SHOWCASING A SETLIST PACKED
WITH BANGERS FROM THEIR EXTENSIVE CATALOGUE. WITH MULTIPLE TOP 5 ALBUMS TO THEIR
NAME, THE ‘WAGONS’ COULD HAVE EASILY PLAYED FOR ANOTHER HOUR WITHOUT RUNNING OUT
OF HITS.







THE STAGE SETUP WAS MINIMALIST YET EFFECTIVE. DRUMMER ALEX THISTLETHWAITE
POUNDED AWAY FROM HIS ELEVATED PERCH, FLANKED BY TWO WALLS OF ORANGE-CASED AMPS
ADORNED WITH A RABBIT-SKULL-AND-CROSSBONES MOTIF. BASSIST ADAM ‘BOWZ’ BOUSKILL
HELD DOWN THE LOW END IN FRONT OF THE SPEAKERS, WHILE GUITARISTS STEVIE HOLL AND
ADAM THISTLETHWAITE TRADED SOLOS WITH EFFORTLESS SYNERGY. THE BAND’S CAMARADERIE
WAS ELECTRIC, HIGHLIGHTED BY THE CHEEKY “MASSIVE WANKERS” STICKER ON ADAM’S
PEDALBOARD.



There’s also an important message being promoted on the “Earth To Grace” tour.
Andy’s Man Club, the vanguard of men’s mental health, are hitting the road with
Massive Wagons. Already known for their unfiltered, heart-on-the-sleeve lyrics,
Massive Wagons are champions of causes that strike a chord with their dedicated
followers. By bringing Andy’s Man Club on tour, they’ve turned up the volume on
the message that “It’s Okay to Talk,” rallying men everywhere to break the

OF TWO SHIPS, THE ALBANY AND THE DISCOVERY, ON A SEARCH FOR GOLD AND COPPER.
LEGEND HAS IT THAT THIS WOODEN CHEST, FOUND DEEP IN THE CAVES OF MARBLE ISLAND,
WAS LEFT BEHIND BY A MEMBER OF KNIGHT’S CREW WHO WAS INSTRUCTED TO HIDE THE
TREASURE AFTER COMING UNDER ATTACK. THE REFINED GOLD INSIDE INDICATES THAT THIS
WAS LIKELY NOT THE FIRST ENCOUNTER THAT JAMES KNIGHT HAD WITH THE MYSTERY
ASSAILANTS, BUT IT SURE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN THE LAST. A SMALL ABANDONED
SETTLEMENT WAS FOUND ON MARBLE ISLAND IN 1768, SUGGESTING THAT KNIGHT AND HIS
CREW HAD SPENT CONSIDERABLE TIME ON THE ISLAND BEFORE THEIR ATTACKERS CAUGHT UP
WITH THEM. HOWEVER, NO TRACE OF KNIGHT AND HIS CREW WERE LOCATED UNTIL THE
WRECKS OF THE DISCOVERY AND THE ALBANY WERE FINALLY FOUND BY DIVERS AT THE
BOTTOM OF HUDSON BAY IN 1991.
