Serpent Universe is my submission. Curating a narrative where the serpent mind
evolves into consciousness, merging with the Universe. Serpents symbolize
transformation since antiquity. In our modern era, harnessing our serpent minds
unlocks ancient wisdom.

My favorite art elicits emotion, this type of feeling is something that is very
hard to put in words and is one reason we create art. All of these works share
the same feeling of blue, a longing for a...

Tao Te Ching Verse 12:

"The five colors blind the eye;

The five tones deafen the ear;

The five flavors dull the taste;

Racing and hunting madden the mind;

Precious things lead one astray."

This verse emphasizes the idea that excess sensory stimulation can lead to
imbalance and confusion. It suggests that simplicity and moderation are
essential for clarity and harmony in life.

But on the other hand, there’s art, there’s nature there’s everything that our
friends are doing that either overwhelm, or underwhelm, or just whelm the senses
themselves.  As a neurodivergent person living with synesthesia, sometimes
artwork triggers all of my senses, and I love it.

Here are the 4 pieces that trigger sensual overload in me and 4 pieces that are
like digital solace, like meditation, things that bring me peace, and inner calm
by just looking at them through active imagination, or putting myself in to
there. that I love, with explanations about what they do for me below:

1.Digital Chemicals #5/20 by @letsglitchit

I’ve always been a big fan of Dawnia’s work, but all of the colours exploding in
this one makes my brain tickle in all of the right places.

2. Colour Flow Study #2 By Zack Lieberman

Surely, I can’t be the only one who hears the poles shifting in this artwork.
This is beyond beautiful, and I feel like it could be interpreted as a modern
day rgb-evolved yin yang. Even though this is whelming some of my senses, after
like 5 minutes of viewing, I feel like my senses normalize, kind of like a
meditation.

3. psychic///warfare by @katethecursed

Kate always knows how to bring a glitch in to perfection, however, the nature of
the glitches, and the loop are beautifully created.  I can hear the static
glitches of an old CRT-Monitor on a quiet evening in the 90s, just by looking at
this.

4.  A soul mirror is what you imagine it would taste like, joy most of the time,
which is why it is so overwhelming.

Currently leaving peak synesthete territory, and trying to relax the mind, but
it’s not really something you can turn on/off on demand, but I guess it’s like
meditating and cleansing the mind. Having like 0.1 mg of psilocybin, or sitting
on the couch after a long day with an indica joint, or maybe just Tummo
breathing for like 20 minutes.

Relaxing territory.

Remember it’s all about crests and troughs

5. Futurecraft_Zorb by p0ng

Something about a 22 pound of glass marble mixed with a blue-purple background
that was “made for a wizard where skies are blue but, minted for a land of Far
cast away full of new digital frontiers” – p0ng

This almost feels like the invitation into the new art world, through Farcaster
and all of our friends. So obviously, we take the initiation with a belly full
of breath and exhale into new frontiers.

6. Disruption.0 by @andreOshea

This is the one that pushes us forward, to strive for even more greatness in a
world that doesn’t like us being neurodivergent and feeling all of the senses in
one piece of artwork. All of them, including touch and taste, without touching
or tasting.

7. Sleepless by @push.

I can feel the emotion and the energy this character is giving out, and it is a
great closing act for this curation.

8. We end, the way we started through a meditative glitch. The piece titled
“Chroma Surge Zorb” by @mxjxn

I can taste the texture of this art in my mouth (I know you’re going to tell me
I’m crazy, but I don’t think that this should be the only benchmark for my
craziness) It’s like the textury middle of a jawbreaker, I can feel the
fuzziness inside my mouth, can you? Is it good? I kinda like it.

My curation is entitled Angelic Witness, and each piece is taken from my
collection.

When looking at works to include the theme presented itself. I tend to be drawn
to art that depicts awe, energy, mystery, grief, the unknown.

Thank you
