WHO IS THE "DATA CONTROLLER" AND WHO IS THE "DATA PROCESSOR"?

Data protection law in certain jurisdictions differentiates between the
“controller” and “processor” of information. The Customer (i.e., your employer)
is the controller of your personal information and Culture Amp is the processor.


WHY DOES CULTURE AMP HAVE MY INFORMATION AND WHAT WILL THEY DO WITH IT?

Your employer (the data controller) has provided Culture Amp with your
information to gather your feedback. This information helps your employer learn
from your feedback and create a better workplace.

The information that each Culture Amp customer provides us is different, but in
most cases, this will include your name, work email address and information
about your role or employment with the customer.

Culture Amp may use this information to enable access to the platform, send out
personalized survey invitations and to add context to reporting of survey
results. We may also use this information to create de-identified aggregate
data.


WHO IS CULTURE AMP AND HOW CAN I CONTACT THEM?

Culture Amp is an employee feedback platform that employers use to collect,
understand and act on employee feedback.

OTHER THAN CULTURE AMP, WHO MAY RECEIVE MY INFORMATION?

Culture Amp uses several trusted third parties to deliver its platform. Please
see our Privacy Policy for more details or contact us.


IN WHICH COUNTRIES IS MY INFORMATION STORED AND HOW DID IT GET THERE?

Our servers are based in the United States, so your information will be
processed and stored in the United States. However, as some of our offices and
trusted third parties are located outside the United States, there may be times
when your information may be transferred, disclosed or processed in another
country (for example, Australia, Ireland or the United Kingdom).

If you are located in the European Union, Culture Amp uses mechanisms such as
the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to transfer your information to the United
States or other countries outside of the EU.


HOW LONG IS MY INFORMATION STORED, AND WHY?

We will store your information in our production systems for as long as your
employer is a customer of Culture Amp so they can use our services and/or until
they request us to delete it. We will store your information in database backups
for a period of up to ninety days from the time your employer ceases to be a
customer.


CAN I ASK CULTURE AMP TO SHOW ME, UPDATE, ERASE OR STOP USING MY INFORMATION?

As we collect, process and store your information on behalf of your employer,
you will need to contact your employer to make a request for us to: show you the
information we store about you; update or erase any information about you; or
stop using any information about you.

Once we receive instructions from your employer, we will facilitate your
request.


CAN I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT AT ANY TIME?

As we collect, process and store your information on behalf of your employer,
you will need to contact your employer to withdraw your consent. Once we are
notified by your employer, we will stop collecting, processing or storing your
information (as applicable).


CAN I LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH A SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY?

Yes, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority where you
live. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information about lodging
complaints.


WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T WANT TO DO THE SURVEY?

All surveys are voluntary. In some cases (for example, Effectiveness or
Performance surveys) our reporting tools may indicate that you have not
completed a survey.
