DRIVETEST: LICENSED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF ONTARIO

DriveTest Centres offer driver licensing and examination services, such as
knowledge tests and road tests, on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation
(MTO).





Join the line for inside services at the Brampton and Metro East DriveTest
Centres from anywhere using our new remote check in system. View the Brampton
entry or the Metro East entry on the Find a DriveTest Centre page or
Alphabetical Centre List page to check in electronically.

Please visit our FAQ page for more information and a list of inside services.
Please note that road test applicants cannot check in for their road test using
the remote check in system.


At the time of your visit, all customers, including road test applicants, should
review the COVID-19 self-screening assessment posted at the door. Customers who
display COVID-19 symptoms will not be able to enter the building or complete a
scheduled road test.

To manage website traffic and provide a fair, first-in-first-out road test
appointment booking experience, we use virtual queue technology. For further

WE'RE ON THE MOVE...


OUR SAULT STE. MARIE DRIVETEST CENTRE HAS A NEW COMMERCIAL OFFSITE TESTING
LOCATION!

Effective February 15, 2023, the Sault Ste. Marie DriveTest Centre will conduct
all commercial class road tests (A, B, C, D, E, F and Z) at our new offsite
testing location at Strathclair Park, 1000-1050 Trans-Canada Hwy, Sault Ste.
Marie, ON, P6B 6H8.


NEW OFFSITE TESTING LOCATION!

The Burlington DriveTest Centre has secured a new commercial motor vehicle
offsite testing location to increase commercial road test availability in the
Burlington area!

Effective January 3, 2023, the Burlington DriveTest Centre will conduct
commercial road tests from two locations. Commercial class road tests will be
administered at the DriveTest Centre’s existing location at 1250 Brant St, Unit
2, Burlington, ON L7P 1X8, and from the new offsite location at 3470-3472
Landmark Rd, Burlington, ON L7M 1S8.


NEW HOURS OF OPERATION FOR INSIDE SERVICES IN BRAMPTON!

Effective December 3, 2022, the Brampton DriveTest Centre will begin offering
new expanded hours of operation for inside services:

• 7AM to 7PM Monday to Friday
• 7AM to 5PM Saturday and Sunday

There will be no change to hours of operation for road test appointments.

receive email notifications from DriveTest to learn of important updates,
service disruptions and special reminders. All you must do to be a part of
DriveTest’s email notification group is to sign-up on the contact us page. You
may unsubscribe at any time.

To subscribe to this service:

On the contact us page please complete the registration form in the ‘Email
Comments and Questions section of the page. All fields must be completed prior
to submitting the form. In the ‘DriveTest Centre Location’ field, select the
DriveTest Centre you or the driving school with which you are affiliated, visit
most frequently. In the ‘Comment Topic’ field, please select ‘Subscribe to
notifications and announcements email list’. In the ‘Your Comments’ field,
please enter the name of the driving school with which you are affiliated, if
not applicable enter N/A.

Subscribers may not limit the type of notifications they receive on the basis of
geography or topics of discussion. All types of notifications published by
DriveTest will be distributed to all users who subscribe to this service.

DriveTest will not use email addresses provided by subscribers for purposes
other than to disseminate important information regarding driver examination
services to registered participants. DriveTest will not share email addresses
provided by subscribers to third parties for alternative uses.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING A CHANGE TO THE ROAD TEST BOOKING SYSTEM

DriveTest introduced a change to ensure that the booking system provides fair
access to all who need to take a road test. Prior to canceling any road test,
you should ensure that you are unable to attend your road appointment, as all
cancellations are final. When you cancel the road test you will have to book a
new date and/or time for your road test.
