on my worst mental health days, when I need to keep up but can’t stand the dread
of scrolling, I look to Let’sTalkPalestine’s Instagram channel for news updates.
Today I read something that really fucked with me. It said that even if there
was a ceasefire called tomorrow, and aid allowed in and etc. that it would take
Gaza until 2092 for its economy to return to 2022 levels. 70 years of potential
progress, stolen from them in 4 months. And you just know that even when that
happens (because Palestine WILL recover and WILL be rebuilt after Israel’s
settler colony fails) the world will see that they’re still years behind the
West for reasons completely out of their control and power and use it as
justification to be even more racist and demeaning. And y’know how I know that?
Because they already do it to the rest of the Middle East.

I don’t have words for what it’s like. to just witness unimaginable cruelty on
this scale and I’m not even Palestinian the grief of someone who called Gaza
home fuck Israel for robbing millions of people of a brighter future fuck these
genocidal fascistic puppets free palestine

i think something you have to realise is that there are people who exist
alongside you and me, who are so devoid of an identity that they make
consumerism into their entire personality. they’re the kind of people who line
up to buy stanley cups, who will throw out and replace entire wardrobes just to
keep up with fashion trends. they’ll fight for nothing but their right to remain
in their comfortable little consumerist bubbles, and co-opt anti-ableist
language to shame you for ever thinking of pointing it out. starbucks is, by a
lot of people’s measurements, very average coffee. but they’ve cultivated a
global brand identity that people enjoy and that’s really the trap.

i feel like ive become meaner after these past few months but youre here for
some reason and i assume its for my opinion on things and thats how i see it at
least and yes. i do think these people are pretty pathetic how pathetic it is to
be a brand's wet dream an unthinking consumer

hi anon - there are a few direct aid organisations that you can donate to that
are doing verifiable good work and goes straight to helping Palestinians.

One of these is CareforGaza, which distributes food, hygiene products, and other
living supplies directly to families in need in Gaza. They take their donations
via Paypal.






The second is E-sims for Gaza, which is organised by Mirna El Helbawi and her
group of workers. They distribute e-sims directly to Palestinians so that they
can keep connected to the world and each other. So far, they’ve distributed over
130,000 e-sims. There is a comprehensive post teaching you how to purchase and
send e-sims here.



Other organisations that also do good work with your coin but are perhaps less
immediate are the PCRF and the UNWRA which are responsible for delivering
truckloads of aid (whenever Israel allows them to). However, if you wanna get
the most bang for your buck, I’d recommend the two options I explained above.
