The event will be carried out in a stationary formula only. Participation is free of charge. The language of the event will be English. Meet companies, R&D institutions and other entities willing to participate in Horizon Europe Programme! Why is it important to become a part of the Horizon4Poland’24 event? The event is a unique chance for companies and R&D institutions to network and seek partners and projects to become a part of the Horizon Europe Programme Horizon4Poland'24 is a matchmaking event addressed to business and the scientific industries. The formula of the event brings the participants closer to the issues related to the Horizon Europe program, makes it possible to get to know the offer of Industry Contact Points and allows to acquire an international partner. Horizon4Poland’24 creates a space that connects entrepreneurs and leading institutions in the field of innovation in Poland with European partnerships and foreign partners, thus increasing participation in Horizon Europe competitions. Horizon Europe is the largest research and innovation program in the history of the European Union. A total of EUR 95.5 billion will be allocated to innovative research and solutions over 7 years (2021-2027). The main theme of the event is: Polish Presidency on the Horizon. It refers to Poland's assumption of the presidency of the Council of the European Union in January 2025 (along with Cyprus and Denmark). As in previous years, we are introducing the participation of business partners who are looking for scientists to collaborate on R&D projects, as well as representatives of institutions financing such projects. Our guests will receive full and comprehensive information on sources of funding for R&D projects. The pitching session, with presentations of ideas for R&D projects, will also be an important element of the event, providing participants with the opportunity to present their project ideas, showcase their organisation, and seek potential partners for a consortium. Our goal is to: * create a community of innovation leaders who will join the group of European pioneers actively cooperating within the framework of European pertnerships * facilitate the creation of R&D project consortiums by connecting business partners. * exchange of experiences in top innovations areas, search for synergies in cooperation * show the innovative potential of European companies and institutions, * invite innovators to benefit from the Polish support ecosystem for the Horizon Europe programme This is an excellent opportunity for foreign partners to establish cooperation with companies and institutions from Poland to build international consortia applying for funds from the HE program and to co-create the most innovative solutions. Who are the Industry Contact Points? Industry Contact Points were established to support Polish companies to develop R&D projects through international cooperation with Horizon Europe Programme. Who should attend? The event is addressed to: * companies, * international organisations, * scientific institutions, * public institutions from both Poland and Europe. The most important value of the meeting is the opportunity to find european partners operating in specific industries, to work with them, cooperate and jointly shape strategic research and innovation agendas. As part of the event, we have planned thematic breakout sessions: * Are VR and XR the techonologies of the future? * Sustainability in the energy industry. * Unlocking the innovation potential with hydrogen. * The case for covergence : How do we close the gap between AI, Data and Robotics? * Towards Clean European Sky. * Equitable access to mental healthcare- Living healthier and longer in the good mental shape Our partners: Continuation.. 3. Horizont4Poland'24 This is the 3rd edition of the event. Last year the conference gathered nearly 400 guests from Poland and abroad. Several thematic tables and places for individual meetings were waiting for the participants. Thanks to the invitation and the presence of representatives of European Partnerships who were speakers at the event, the Horizon4Poland'23 conference was also appreciated by the European Commission. We hope this year will be similar! 2. Horizont4Poland'23 Watch a short video about the Horizon4Poland'23 matchmaking edition from one year ago: Horizon4Poland'23 was the largest matchmaking event in the R&D sector in Poland, enhancing participation in the Horizon Europe program. The 2023 edition of Horizon4Poland was opened by one of the most influential and inspiring keynote speakers. Additionally, seven thematic breakout sessions enabled participants to join the community of European innovation leaders through European partnerships such as Made in Europe, 2Zero, CCAM, Photonics21, EIT Health, Built4People, EIT Food, EIT Urban Mobility, Batt4EU, ERA4Health, IHI, and THCS. The topics focused on key areas for Europe’s development, including sustainability, digitalization, industry, climate, energy, mobility, construction, lithium-ion batteries, photonics, food, and health. Industry Contact Points and EU Partnerships also presented opportunities for engagement in initiatives under which the European Commission, together with private or public partners, cooperates in building strategic research and innovation agendas. Our participants could discuss in detail opened calls available to apply in 2024 under Horizon Europe Programme. Also, the pitching session enjoyed great interest among the participants. It gives an exceptional opportunity to present project ideas, showcase the organization, and look for potential partners for future project consortiums. Last but not least, Matchmaking sessions with over 50 tables for individual meetings offered a chance to make business contacts and discuss further ways to enhance mutual collaboration. 1. Horizont4Poland'22 Watch a short video about the Horizon4Poland'22 matchmaking edition from two years ago: The first edition of Horizon4Poland took place on 22 November 2022 at POLIN Museum in Warsaw. The aim of the event was to present the opportunities and possibilities of Horizon Europe and to enable cooperation between participants applying for funding from the program. Horizon4Poland organized by the Industry Contact Points managed by the Łukasiewicz Institutes was hugely popular, and nearly 250 guests from both Poland and abroad took part in it. The participants experienced seven thematic sessions prepared by the individual Industry Contact Points. During the session more than 30 topics were raised and four discussion panels were held. In the matchmaking part, 14 thematic tables and 15 tables for individual meetings were available for the participants. Thanks to the invitation and presence of the representatives of several European Partnerships who were speakers at the event, Horizon4Poland was also recognised in the European Commission.
