The Pearl is a bright and cheery room lined with architectural windows. Guests
staying in this room can enjoy the views overlooking Girod Street while enjoying
your morning coffee. You'll gain access to this room by a shared courtyard
space. The room is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave,
wine glasses and coffee mugs; along with all necessary kitchen utensils. Each

The Constance is the larger of our two rooms with it having a bit more floor
space and a larger bathroom. When staying in this room you will have a view of
the rear of the property. Guests gain access to this room by a shared courtyard

WE'RE AN ACTIVE FAMILY OF FIVE AND LIKE TO TRAVEL AS MUCH AS YOU

After a brief weekend spent biking the St. Tammany Trace and exploring this
charming town, Michael & Rikki  decided to relocate to Mandeville in 2014. 
First, we opened Rikki’s retail store, Cameo Boutique, then started our family,
and in 2018 we were fortunate enough to aquire our 1920’s Craftsman Bungalow.
Finally our roots were set! Our home was a year long renovation and definitely a
challenge at times with three small children.  This wasn’t our first home
renovation but it has definitely been the most rewarding!

As much as we enjoy the architecture and charm of our home, we ultimately chose
to live here because of the Historic Old Mandeville community.  This is the “old
town” of the city, not the downtown.  Mandeville was established as a prominent
retreat for visitors from New Orleans during the summer months.  This “summer
retreat” atmosphere remains to this day. We find ourselves daily at the
Mandeville lakefront enjoying the swings, playgrounds, gazebo, sailboats,
fishing, walking and bike paths, magnificent live oaks, and breathtaking
sunsets.  We frequent the restaurants, shops, nightlife and activities that are
all within walking distance for our family.  We hope you come visit and you just
might find yourself falling in love with this charming community just as we
did.

Location is key with this charming bungalow rental. The house is one block away
from beautiful Lake Pontchartrain, with walking/bike paths, kayaking & water
sports, and several of Louisiana’s most magnificent live oak trees.

We are conveniently located across the street from LaLou restaurant open daily
serving breakfast at 7:30am. Numerous restaurants, shops, entertainment and the
St Tammany Trace are just steps away!

What an absolutely lovely place! We spent 3 nights and felt right at home. The
room decor is comfortable and cozy. Very clean. All the amenities were include -
hair dryer, steamer, refrigerator, coffee bar. The location is perfect - just
one block from the lake. Several restaurants within walking distance and the
cutest breakfast cafe right across the street. We’ll be back!

We loved our night in this adorable room! It is clean, super stylish and
functional! The big windows bringing in tons of natural light with a fun view of
the street and on the other side of the room it looks out to a quaint garden
sitting area which was probably my favorite part. It was only a block from the
lake and across the street from restaurants and bike rentals. We will definitely
want to come back!

My wife and I found this hidden gem on our travels from Kentucky. It was very
comfortable,clean and relaxing. The nature sounds and diffuser with essential
oils were an unanticipated delight. The location was exceptional as we found
everything in walking distance from local shopping, farmers markets, the lake,
restaurants and local attractions. Would love to return in the future .



CHARLES WOOD

The room was comfortable, clean and perfect for two people. Check-in was
seamless with no required contact. Your code to do the door is all you need for
check-in. The best part was the location. A fantastic breakfast spot is across
the street and a local coffee shop less than one block away. Lake is a five
minute walk and several restaurants within a few minutes walk.
