Davies Back to School Night is a time to bring in your school supplies, meet
teachers, and see where your classrooms are located - please plan to attend!

Fargo Public Schools online student registration is NOW OPEN for the
2024-25 school year. All FPS families must verify family information and
complete/update registration forms PRIOR TO their child(ren) attending
back-to-school sessions in August.

Co-Curricular Meetings

The annual parent-student co-curricular meeting is required of all students
participating in all co-curricular activities (i.e. athletics, drama, music
etc.). All students are required to attend an in-person meeting when they are
new to a building, typically once in middle school and once in high school. This
meeting can also be viewed online via the registration forms in each parent's
PowerSchool account.

School Supply & Backpack Pick up

The United Way of Cass Clay invites those in need of a backpack and school
supplies to visit one of the backpack pick up events. Families will need to fill
out a registration form and provide a form of ID for each child receiving
supplies.

The District has a number of great reading opportunities and resources to
encourage students to keep reading during summer break!

North Dakota is launching Summer EBT, a new grocery benefits program that
provides $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries while school
is out. Most families will get these benefits automatically, but some may need
to apply. The new program is in addition to free summer meal sites in their
communities. Households already participating in SNAP, FDPIR, or TANF, will be
automatically enrolled in the Summer EBT program. Households not automatically
enrolled may be eligible, Apply now!

Each year, FPS administration conducts an Administrative Policy review.
Administrative Policies are reviewed on a set rotation, ensuring all policies
are reviewed once in a four-year cycle. Through this review process, some
policies do not require any changes while other policies receive minor updates
or more substantial updates. For the 2024 review cycle, administration has been
reviewing this year’s set of policies during the school year.

Each year, FPS administration conducts an Administrative Policy review.
Administrative Policies are reviewed on a set rotation, ensuring all policies
are reviewed once in a four-year cycle. Through this review process, some
policies do not require any changes while other policies receive minor updates
or more substantial updates. For the 2024 review cycle, administration has been
reviewing this year’s set of policies during the school year.
