DOWN HOME COUNTRY SHOW TO FEATURE COUNTRY SINGER/SONGWRITER BILLY YATES

GRAND COUNTRY MUSIC HALL IN BRANSON WELCOMES STAR ENTERTAINER

(Tuesday, January 9, 2024 ~ Branson, MO) Country Singer/Songwriter Billy Yates
will be featured in the award-winning “Down Home Country Show” performed at the
Grand Country Music Hall in Branson, MO.

Mike Patrick, Executive Producer of over eight shows at the Grand Country Music
Hall, said, “Billy was making a guest appearance on our Friday night late show,
Branson Country USA, and hearing his sound and watching his interaction with our
audience, it hit me that Billy really is a perfect fit for our classic country
show.” Billy Yates adds, “I love traditional country music and the Down Home
Country Show is the best place in Branson to find that sound. I’m super excited
and honored to be a part of this great show with such a talented group of
entertainers.”

In Branson, prior to 2020, Billy starred in the live music show “Raiding the
Country Vault” and his own show “Billy Yates’ Hit Songwriters in the Round”. He
also has an active real estate business with PB Realty where he continues to
work out of both the Doniphan and Branson offices. Billy says, “When I first
moved to Nashville, my friend Mel Tillis told me he was moving to Branson, and I
was so surprised because, as a country music artist, to me Nashville seemed like
the dream. Then, when I myself got to Branson, I fell in love with the people
here and our visitors. So being able to work and be a part of the music
community in both towns is really living the dream.”

The “Down Home Country Show” also features Entertainer of the Year, Jamie Haage,
and Comedian of the Year, Jarrett Dougherty. The incredible cast of singers and
pickers allows audiences to step back in time to real country music. The show
has been voted “Best in Classic Branson” and provides a variety of singing,
comedy, gospel, bluegrass and down-home fun. Shows begin on April 17, 2024, and
continue thru May 24, then resume Sept 4 thru Dec 13, 2024, and are performed at
10:00am at the Grand Country Music Hall on the world-famous Hwy 76 strip in
Branson MO. For more tickets and information call 417-335-2484 or visit on-line

BILLY COMPLETES 50TH FEATURED PERFORMANCE ON THE GRAND OLE OPRY'S COUNTRY
CLASSIC SHOW

"Grammy nominations, numerous accolades and awards don't compare to performing
on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry according to Billy. "Growing up out in the
country in rural Missouri, some of my greatest memories are listening to the
Opry with my family. I often dreamed of one day getting to go to the Opry, but
to be honest, at that point in my life, I don't think I even knew how to dream
big enough to ever think I'd perform on that stage, let-a-lone, 50 times!" His
first performance was several years ago and he described that night as magical
as he recalls stepping onto the "sacred circle" for the first time to sing. "I
remember being so excited, but I was also determined to soak it all in and not
let it become a moment that would be forgotten because of nerves. I just stood
there and took a deep breath and I asked the audience to give me a minute, I
looked down at my boots that were standing on the same circle where many of my
heroes had stood. It truly was a night to remember!" Now flash forward to June
11th and the same respect was displayed as Yates performed his 50th performance
on the world-famous Grand Ole Opry during one of their ever-so-popular "OPRY
COUNTRY CLASSICS" shows!

BILLY IS PRESENTED BMI'S MILLION AIR AWARD ON OPRY STAGE AT THE RYMAN AUDITORIUM
IN NASHVILLE

June 11th was a special day as Billy was invited to perform his 50th appearance
on the Grand Ole Opry. As Billy completed the last of three songs he was
performing, he was surprised by the show's host, Larry Gatlin, as he, along with
WSM and Grand Ole Opry announcer, Bill Cody, presented Billy with the coveted
"Million Air Award" for the Yates penned, "I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair" that
country music legend, George Jones made famous back in 1992. The song was Yates'
first song to have been recorded by anyone and was also awarded the "CMA Vocal
Event of the Year" in 1993.

The BMI Million Air Award is awarded to songwriters, composers and publishers
whose songs accumulate over one million U.S. broadcast performance, the
designation has been bestowed upon many revered songwriters, including Paul
McCartney, Dolly Parton, and Roy Orbison.

BILLY YATES CONTINUES PRODUCTION ON NEW CHARLEY PRIDE MUSIC WITH VARIOUS DUET
PARTNERS

After the success of the "Music in My Heart" album that Billy produced on
Charley a few years ago, the legend asked Billy, once again, to produce new
music. "We had recorded several new songs before Covid hit and were unable to
spend much time working on them before Charley succumbed to the virus. Luckily,
we had most of Charley's vocals completed enough to move forward with the
project which was mostly planned to be a duet or collaboration project", said
Yates, who is now working with various artists to complete the new music. Stay
tuned to Charley's social media for more updates as to when the new music will
be released.

BILLY RETURNS TO EUROPE AFTER FIVE YEARS OF NO FOREIGN TRAVELS

(July 29, 2022) Scandanavian fans were elated to welcome Billy back to their
stages after five years of no overseas shows. Billy recently made his return to
Denmark where he played to an enthusiastic crowd in Oster Hurup at the Truckstop
Festival there on July 25th. After that, Billy joined up with the family in
Sweden for some R & R with friends there, then on to Norway, where Billy invited
son, Grayson, and future daughter-in-law, Nadia Cole, to the stage where they
wowed fans in Skjak, at the Country Festival there on July 2nd. A highlight of
that trip was also performing an acoustic set in the local church. It became a
working vacation for the family as they continued on to Holland where they spent
a few days with long-time friends there. Billy and family can't wait to return
to Europe for more great country music!
