Plentiful and varied. The staff was very pleasant. It was in a great location next to the MRT. There were escalators so no problem carrying luggage. (1) The "deluxe" room was very small with the bed against the wall in an alcove. The space between the bed and the outside wall was barely the width of the door. My husband is 6'3" and 250 lbs. The lack of a window made it feel a bit claustrophobic. (2) Lovely bathroom but no place to put down toiletries while showering. It needed a small shelf above the sink. The only place to use a hairdryer or electric shaved was by the desk but there was no mirror. (3) The AC did not work properly and it turned out that the filters had not been cleaned in months. Huge breakfast buffet in the mornings with an omelet station and and many hot food choices. Central location right in Chinatown’s food street. Water dispensers on every level. Room was very, very small. Due to its central location, the room could be noisy at times. Bathroom did not drain quickly so had to be careful not to flood during showering. You can walk to Marina Bay (20-30 minutes). The space of room was much smaller than our expectations. We (2 people) could barely fit in this small room. Bathroom was even smaller. They didn't make the room. We stayed two nights and the second night we had to go to bed with the room without any cleaning or making the bed and wet towels. The towel did not dry because the room does not have proper ventilation. In addition, the bathroom had a leak from the upper room, which presumably was from the upper bathroom, making it disgusting. Staff - especially those serving breakfast! Mattress on the floor which took its toll after first night! Air con super loud and a lot of light from the hallway and air con - recommend ear plugs and eye mask! We stayed in a room without a window which was claustrophobic but not sure a room with a window would have helped! It’s an expensive city but if I go back will pay the extra to get a proper nights sleep! Perfectly located in Chinatown. Refurbishment works in the hallway and neighbouring rooms meant there was a constant noise during the day. I extend my stay by 1 night and was still asked check-out the next day, as the extension wasn’t put in the system. Location, Good Breakfast, Location in the heart of chinatown with two metro lines in less than 3 minutes from the door and severa buses. Staff, Cleanliness all was OK. Taking into account how expensive is Singapore, the price was cheap. Singapore is quite expensive, specially in terms of accomodation, but for the price it was a good place to be hosted.
