Next See All Products WHY SHOULD I RECYCLE Large appliances contain recoverable metals and getting them back into the supply chain reduces the need for new raw materials. Also, many large appliances contain refrigerants: a group of chemicals that collectively are called ozone-depleting substances. By responsibly recycling your large appliances, you ensure that any ozone-depleting substances will be handled and disposed of carefully by licensed professionals. There are certified drop-off sites that accept major appliances all across BC. There is no charge when you drop off your appliance at a MARR collection site and you can rest assured knowing your large appliances will be recycled responsibly. LATEST NEWS * THE SUNSHINE COAST REGIONAL DISTRICT IS PARTNERING WITH MARR Starting November 1 2022, coast residents will be able to drop off end-of-life large appliances for free at the Pender Harbour Solid Waste Transfer Station and also at the Sechelt Landfill. * MARR ARTICLE ON THE VANCOUVER SUN Read an article about the MARR program published in the Vancouver Sun website. * MARR ARTICLE ON DAILY HIVE The Daily Hive published an article about the MARR program on its website.
