/About

My name is Doru, and I'm originally from Romania but have lived in Italy since I
was seven.

My fascination with computers started at five when I played on my uncle's old
PC. In Romania, I often visited the library to use local computers, as my family
couldn't afford one for me.

As I grew up, my interest in computers deepened, leading me to launch my first
Minecraft server at eleven. This experience ignited my desire to create and
improve beyond what was available online.

This marked the start of my journey into the tech world, where I continually
strive to learn something new every day.

Lume is an ambitious next-generation news website. Each user has their own
profile, a dedicated articles section, and the ability to create new articles
using the intuitive article editor built into Lume.

NewLife — Fivem GTA Server
Lua React.js Node.js TypeScript MySQL

This project involves complex management across database, back-end, game
development, front-end, and user experience. FiveM is a modded version of GTA
that allows you to create your own server and build your community.

/Interests

I enjoy playing chess. I consider myself a good storyteller, having watched all
the major TV series the world has to offer, and I am still eagerly waiting for
something new to emerge. My favorite series? Mr. Robot.

I speak three languages: Italian, Romanian, and English, and I am currently
striving to learn Russian. Another of my interests is society.

I love discussing environmental issues, politics, and history. When it comes to
programming, I aim to learn something new every day. I have a passion for
programming languages, language design, and syntax, along with optimization,
memory management, and space and time complexity.

I am also fascinated by emerging technologies like blockchain and AI. The
concept of blockchain, along with the work that supports it, captivates me. I
admire the new programming languages, databases, and frameworks that continue to
emerge.
