PROVIDING BOOKS ABOUT ALZHEIMER’S AND OTHER DISABILITIES FOR CHILDREN AND PUBLIC
LIBRARIES.

SUPPORTING EDUCATION BY PROVIDING GRADE-APPROPRIATE BOOKS ON ALZHEIMER'S,
DEMENTIA, AND OTHER DISABILITIES TO PUBLIC LIBRARIES AND STUDENTS IN TITLE I
SCHOOLS.

Our Vision

Nana’s Books Foundation, a public non-profit 501.c.3 (IRS approved) foundation
created to honor lifelong Librarian Nancy Dulniak. Nancy had a fond love of
books starting at a very early age. She loved to share her joy of reading to
children, especially her grandchildren. Taken from this world way too early from
Alzheimer’s, we are providing grade-appropriate books and resources about
Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other disabilities to public libraries and students
in Title I schools in her honor.

SPONSOR A BOOK TODAY!

You can view our list of books that we are currently donating. We include a book
label on each book donation that includes our mission statement and a photo of
Librarian Nancy Dulniak. We want to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s, dementia,
and other disabilities to our youth. You can purchase the books directly from
our Amazon Wish List.

SUPPORTING TITLE I SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES

We donate books to children and libraries of Title I schools to raise awareness
of Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other disabilities. Passing along Nancy’s legacy
of the love of reading to school children is an important step to educate
communities about Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other disabilities. In addition to
Title I schools, we also donate books to local libraries. Libraries within
cities Nancy lived have maintained a special place in our hearts. Nancy took her
kids to the library every two weeks which instilled her love of reading into
them, and giving back to libraries is important to our mission.

REACHING OTHER COMMUNITIES

In addition to Title I schools, we also donate books to local libraries. If you
have a library, school, or classroom you would like to have receive books from
our foundation, please reach out to us. We’d love to expand our foundation’s
reach.

“BOOKS AND READING HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE SO IT WAS
COMPLETELY NATURAL THAT I WOULD CHOOSE LIBRARIANSHIP AS MY CAREER!”
