Asset consulting firm and managed account specialist Resonant Asset Management
has bolstered its investment team with the hire of  associate portfolio managers
from First Sentier and Smartshares, respectively.

Sam Tohill and Michael Dinh will be based in the Sydney office and report
directly to chief executive Glen Holder.

Holder said the appointments reflect continuing strong growth at the firm which
focuses on assisting wealth practices build out private label managed accounts.

"Michael and Sam are wonderful additions to an experienced investment team and
possess proven analytical skills and funds management experience that will
benefit our investors," he added.

"Given the current market environment, their ability to identify important
opportunities that align with our investment philosophy will further enhance
portfolios and the business moving forward.

Dinh has over ten years' experience working at a major asset manager, investing
across Australia, the US, and Europe in global equities, fixed interest and
credit, and the unlisted infrastructure space.

He arrives from First Sentier Investors, where he spent ten years in the
unlisted infrastructure space.

Before joining Resonant, Tohill was a portfolio manager at Smartshares - one of
New Zealand's largest fund managers - overseeing the management of $4 billion in
multi-asset portfolios.

Meantime, Andrew Kophamel has started work with Brighter Super as a performance
analyst after a one-year career break.

He arrived from abdrn, where he spent 13 years, most recently as head of
operational oversight.

Before that, he worked as a fixed-income performance manager at State Street
Investment Analytics.

In other moves, Australian Retirement Trust has appointed Lucy Grech as
portfolio analyst, stewardship, biodiversity and natural capital.

She joined from Rabobank Australia, where she sat in the major client group
specialising in the agribusiness and food sector.

Grech started her career at the Commonwealth Bank as an analyst.
