GUIDE: HOW TO INSTALL RETRO EMERGENCY VEHICLES PACK 1.3.0 IN 2022



After multiple requests I finally did it. It's new video installation
instruction of Retro Emergency pack on the actual version of GTA V (1.0.2699.0).
Also, mod was reuploaded with couple of minor fixes.
I removed outdated gameconfig.xml files from package, and updated text
instruction for mods, with link on content which should be installed. Also
vehshare.rpf files are updated and now include textures  with increased
resolution by R*. Following this instruction mod should stay actual for a long
time and work with any next update, if R* will not change game client structure.

RETRO EMERGENCY VEHICLES PACK: THE UNMARKEDS ADDON V. 1.4.1 (90'S)



 

Retro Emergency Vehicles Pack: The Unmarkeds Addon – an auxillary DLC for GTA V
which adds a lot of unmarked vehicles from the 90's,. Mod was developed in a DLC
format with a pretty easy installation. This pack features lots of legendary
cars like Ford LTD Crown Victoria, Chevrolet Caprice, Chevrolet Suburban and
Ford Crown Victoria. You can get them by spawning via a trainer or just getting
a wanted level.

Pack includes only DLC with vehicles and could be used with any early released
mod. For example B&B Emergency Lights for the Windy City Pack, R&R will fit for
East Coast Addon, and R&B&O is good with vanilla-based Los Santos and
countryside map.

Retro Emergency Vehicles Pack: The Windy City Addon – a global DLC for GTA V
which replace most of emergency services and taxis on analagoues based on ones
from Acadia City (Lore-Friendly name of Chicago),  from the 90's. Mod was
developed in a DLC format with a pretty easy installation. This pack features
lots of legendary cars like Ford LTD Crown Victoria, Chevrolet Caprice,
Chevrolet Suburban and Ford Crown Victoria. You can get them by spawning via a
trainer or just getting a wanted level.


Acadia, home to some of the tallest skyscrapers West of Liberty City, the best
Deep Dish Pizza outside of Carcer City, America's most brutal winters, and last
but definitely not least, the worst crime rate East of Los Santos. The APD in
the 90s definitely had their hands full all over the city. Whether it was some
poor mope getting popped on the South Side or a suspicious individual in a
jalopy underneath the L-Train in Downtown, the ladies and gents in the checkered
hats never took any chances.

Pack includes:
1. DLC archive with vehicles and peds
2. Set of Lincoln (Lore-Friendly name of Illinois state) license plates
2. Optional dispatch.meta sets, for different time eras (1990-1992, 1993-1997,
1998-2000).

DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS: ONE OF THE KEY FEATURES OF V. 1.4.1



This is a jdmimport invented and augmented by me way of using my favorite extra
system to increase the variety of hubcaps on cars. In the pictures you will see
one car model, policewc3, which, with appropriate preparation and configuration
of vehicles.meta, has a stock wheel and two sets of hubcaps. Also extras
controls a unit numbers and a megaphone on the lightbar. A car without
extraneous extras can have three sets of hubcaps. Two sets of caps allow you to
have four more arbitrary extras, one set of caps - eight arbitrary extras. Thus,
most of the marked patrol cars in this and subsequent packs will have this
mechanic. That is, it will be possible to make two or three different flashing
lights with two different sets of caps and still remember to hang a rambar or
something like that, using all 12 extras. Some people will object, after all,
you can use tuning for the same purposes, but we have not achieved a result in
its implementation in the game spawn system. That is, it is possible to install
other wheels through the trainer, but so that cars with different wheels come to
the stars is no longer. Therefore, we came to such a decision in which AI-cops
use all three wheel options with different caps and without them.

RETRO EMERGENCY VEHICLES PACK : THE WINDY CITY ADDON 1.4.1 (1990-2000)



Release of The Windy City by my friend FV Design inspired me to do special
Chicago-themed addon. 

This addon pack will include:

Acadia Police Department (Chicago Police Department as optional preset)


Acadia Taxi Services (Chicago Taxis as optional)

Acadia EMS (Chicago EMS as optional)

Feature of this pack is real-life optional skins, i don't know will this trend
continue later, depends of your interest to RL-liveries.Other feature is HQ
models of 1992-1994 Ford Crown Victoria, first in GTA series ever, based on 1995
Ford Crown Victoria model. Also there will be other interesting vehicles and
minor updates of existing ambulance. Also, this pack will include REVP: EC 2001
pack vehicles, which was developed by my friend and co-developer jdmimport.

RETRO EMERGENCY VEHICLES PACK : EAST COAST ADDON (2001) 1.0



 

Retro Emergency Vehicles Pack: East Coast Addon ( 2001 ) – a global DLC for GTA
V witch replace most of emergency services and taxis on analagoues based on ones
from Liberty City and Alderney State, from 2001 period. Mod was developed in a
DLC format with a pretty easy installation. This pack features lots of legendary
cars like Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Caprice, Chevrolet Suburban and Ford Crown
Victoria.
A lot of research have been made to do somethings authentics and accurate as
possible,
according to footage and picture of that time.
You can get them by spawning via a trainer or just getting a wanted level.

Pack includes:
1. DLC archive with vehicles and peds
2. Custom Liberty city and alderney Licences Plates.
3. Working High riser for highway patrol fleet.
4. Non-els lighting.
5. Optional dispatch.meta sets, for different types of LC zoning.

SCIENTIFIC PROTOTYPES MARK VII SIREN ( 70'S - 90'S NYPD )



Scientific Prototypes Mark VII Siren - siren modification, which brings to GTA V
siren used by NYPD in 70's - 90's. Formerly released on gta4-mods.com as nypd
mark 7 siren, saved for actual days by FCV96, converted to GTA V and re-released
by Lozano71. This siren also was used in my previous LC-related videos.
========================================== INSTALLATION

Shortly, idea idea is edit vehicles.awc files with openFormats.
Export-replace-import .
Here is detail algorythm:
1) Open "Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf\"
2) Click Right Mouse Button on "vehicles.awc" and choose "export to openFormats
(.oac)"
3) Put .waw files from the mod to exported "vehicles" folder from mod, with
replace of files
4) Click "import openFormats" and import "vehicles.oac" back to "Grand Theft
Auto V\mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf\"

Regular siren "SIREN_PA20A_WAIL" - press "E" short
"POLICE_WARNING| - press "E" and hold when regular siren is active
"SIREN_2" - press "E" short and immediatly press "E" one more time and hold

Chevrolet Caprice 1991-1995 was updated, now it use newer carface80's models
Created Liberty and Alderney states license plates for all vehicles.
Ford Crown Victoria 1998 was updated, now it use OfficerUnderwood's model
Ford Mustang 1991 got some minor updates and bugfixes

List now looking short but it was epic long-term work, a lot of research have
been made to do somethings authentics and accurate as possible, many items was
redone twicely and even more times, 80's and 70's packs are not released, but i
just changed tactic. Now i got platform for 1990's packs, based on best models
which gta community can suggest. In 2021 i plan to release more 90's packs based
on different cities and locations, because it's optimal if we think about
optimising of development time. After releasing some themed packs i will return
to work on 80's pack, and do same. And in the end i will do 70's packs. It's
long term process, but it allows to do releases every season, instead of waiting
lot of time before whole work will be ended.

PRE-RELEASE TAXI CONCEPT



 




I'm happy to introduce you a new, probably pre-release concept of taxis. Now our
taxis become even more authentic, with last version they got some updates:
 * HQ taxi roof sign with ads. Also, ads fully compatible with default
   taxi-banners, and it mean it's compatibility with all existing banner mods
   for vanilla taxis.
 * Taxi now have correct (okay, almost correct) registration tickets. 
 * Taxi now have medallions, issued by Liberty City Taxi & Chauffeur comission,
   carvariations.meta will allow to configure year of taxi medallions.

All what i got to do for finishing taxis completely - is implement this features
to the rest of vehicles

I'm Lozano71, machinima maker and GTA V Modifications creator, and just retro
vehicles lover.

My main project - Retro Emergency Vehicle Pack. This is a set of emergency
vehicles, separated by 3 different eras: 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. Original
vehicles models was created and converted to GTA V by different authors, i did
many fixes and updates for this cars and compared them to DLC.
This blog, along with my youtube channel, will get all new teasers and releases
before it will appear in other profile sites.
