Has your company addressed meeting equity in the new hybrid work model yet?

Successful organizations have learned to provide greater flexibility and support
to empower employees to work from almost anywhere. A recent IDC Canada survey
found a 36% increase in new hires who live and work outside an organization's
surrounding area, during the pandemic – which helped expand the work pool, but
also made it more distributed. At the same time, hybrid work models now require
greater attention on how people collaborate and share ideas – we need to create
experiences that allow everyone to participate and be recognized, whether they
are physically present or working remotely. This is the starting point of
meeting equity, but it also expands into diversity and inclusion initiatives.

As IT leaders, you need to be aware of meeting equity, make sure you address it,
and add it as a consideration when you invest in collaboration solutions that
will define the future of work.
