WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL...

Dear
Visitor,                                                                              
 

As Headteacher I am proud to welcome you to our school. This website aims
to give you a feel for life here at Rode Heath Primary, and also
provides regular information for both parents and children.

Our school is at the heart of our community, with children having been educated
on the current site for more than 40 years. There are now 213 children on roll,
taught in seven single-aged classes. In addition, since September 2015, we have
also enjoyed having our very own, 24 place, on-site Pre-school provision. The
school is open 38 weeks term time and our popular holiday club offers parents
and carers a further 8 weeks of childcare. Children can be on- site from 7:30am
until 6:00pm daily. 



Our commitment is to deliver the highest quality curriculum, where the Arts are
seen as an entitlement for all. Where literature matters; our creative
curriculum is founded on the use of quality children's texts. Our
mathematics,.science and computing provision is exemplary.  Attainment measures
are strong with 83% of our Year 6 children (2022 results) reaching the expected
standard in reading, writing and mathematics (combined). This is 24% above the
national average and places Rode Heath Primary amongst the highest performing
schools in Cheshire East.

The intent, implementation and impact of our commitment to S.T.E.M subjects can
be seen on our sister website 'Think Like an Engineer'. Please take a moment to

Finally, we are passionate about building strong relationships with parents and
families in order to secure the best outcomes for all of our children. It is not
