Intuitive was established to provide expert advice, personal service, and
tailored insurance solutions to clients, particularly with complex risk
profiles. We build close relationships with clients in the role of a trusted
risk advisor, enabling a more proactive approach to risk management in an
ever-changing business environment.

EXPERT KNOWLEDGE

Our approach is based on ‘cost-of-risk’, which forms the basis of all our
recommended insurance programs. We focus attention on the overall value achieved
and on not only meeting but exceeding our client’s expectations. We have vast
experience and knowledge of the technicalities and risks associated with our
client companies, which include those in biotechnology and medical devices as
well as clients with global insurance requirements.



SHANE THAW

Shane, Founder and Director of Intuitive, holds over seventeen years of
experience in the insurance broking industry. Throughout his career, Shane has
placed insurance for a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to large
corporations, across a number of different industries. Shane’s expertise lies in
professional and financial risks (Directors & Officers Liability, Professional
Indemnity and related covers), bringing a great deal of experience and knowledge
in this space.

Shane holds a Masters of Insurance and Risk Management, Deakin University,
Bachelor of Business, University of Technology Sydney, and Diploma of Financial
Services (General Insurance).
