Borderplex Community Capital is a Financial Development Loan Fund that supports
economic development in the El Paso and West Texas region by providing loans to
impactful organizations that don’t meet the qualifications of traditional
lenders. In particular, Borderplex Community Capital is committed to supporting
Nonprofits and Small Businesses operating in low-income neighborhoods.
Borderplex Community Capital works to expand services, and therefore
opportunities, to enhance the social fabric of the community.



WHAT IS A CDFI?

Borderplex Community Capital is in the process of applying to become a certified
Community Development Financial Institution. A CDFI is a specialized
organization that provides financial services to organizations in low-income
communities** who lack access to financing. CDFIs are certified by the U.S.
Department of Treasury.

APPLY FOR A LOAN

Borderplex Community Capital’s low-interest loans are ideal for nonprofits and
small businesses looking to expand services and improve the local communities.
