language. Here, compassion comes first, and medical care is tailored
specifically for you and your furry companion.

We collaborate closely with your veterinarian, specialists, groomer, dog walker,
and trainer to ensure your pet receives the best care possible. It truly takes a
community, and seeking assistance is perfectly fine. As medicine evolves, we
make it our mission to keep you informed about all available diagnostic and
treatment options. This empowers you to make the best choices for your pet and
your family.

Dedicated

Understanding your pet's health is empowering; you are their voice. We aim to
educate you about their condition and care, equipping you to help when they're
unwell. Dr. Magnotta also supports animal welfare locally and globally,
envisioning a world where no animal lacks medical care, food, or safety.

Wholistic Approach

Our veterinarian is dedicated to caring for the entire pet, emphasizing physical
health, emotional wellness, and enhancing the connection we share with our
animals. They depend on us for all their needs, and we are here to assist. We’ll
provide guidance on how to enhance their quality of life, allowing you to enjoy
evening strolls by the river and warm cuddles by the fireplace.

For mobile vet care, we serve many areas in northwestern and central Connecticut
including Canton, Avon, Burlington, Unionville, Harwinton, Torrington,
Farmington, Simsbury, Granby, West Hartford, and New Hartford.



We travel throughout Connecticut for In-Home Pet Euthanasia services.

Types of Sick/Urgent Problems We Treat:



Eyes: discharge, squinting, itchy

Mouth: pain, odor

Nose: sneezing

Ears: odor, itchy, discharge, red

Skin: itchy, infection, minor wounds

GI: mild diarrhea, vomiting constipation

Urinary/Genital: accidents, licking, discharge

Muscles/Bones: mild limping, arthritic pain

Behavior: storm & firework phobia

End of Life/Hospice Care :



Let us help you during the most difficult time. A big part of treating our pets
that are near the end is focusing on pain management and minimizing stress. We
offer Librela, Cytopoint, & Solensia injections while on their bed or on the
porch. Signs of dementia can be managed as well, improving the human-animal
bond. 

 

Wellness Exams:



Nose to tail comprehensive exam!

Identifying signs of disease early on can help your pet live a long and healthy
life.

Every pet should be examined yearly.

Senior pets or those with chronic problems should be examined every 6 months. 

Preventative bloodwork available.
