Your adventure begins NOW. Rusty Spurr Ranch invites you to experience
award-winning horseback riding activities in Kremmling, CO that are truly unique
compared with the standard tourist rides. Our rides are consistently awarded
Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence by our guests. We have been providing
memorable horseback adventures for over 22 years. Our 10,000 acre ranch
location, conveniently north of Breckenridge, allows plenty of space for
off-trail horseback riding. We encourage our guests to “Get Outta Line” and

Friendly and Fun!


I have been on many rides in Colorado throughout my life and this was the best,
without question. The views were breathtaking, the staff was extremely friendly
and fun, and the horses were healthy and well-trained for any level of rider.
Unlike many other stables, this is not a strict a nose to tail ride and you have
the flexibility to take different paths and breakaway from the group with your
horse. This kept the ride exciting, creative, and engaging.

We enjoyed our 1 hour trail ride even though it was raining! The staff provided
rain jackets and we kept dry and warm! It was a beautiful and fun ride. Shane
was the perfect guide! Shout out to Boone, Rambo and Winchester!! Thank you so
much for making a rainy day in the mountains a great one!!

The staff is so knowledgeable and kind. They provided my family with a
one-of-a-kind experience. It was my 13 and 10 year olds first time riding a
horse. Connie was so patient in helping them along. Not only did she teach us
about horses and riding, we learned all about the ranch and surrounding area. It
is evident they love their job and their horses. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing time!


We did an hour long ride with Shane. My boyfriend rode Crab man and I rode
Maverick. The ranch was beautiful as were the horses. Our hostess Patti was
super welcoming and kind. We ended up with a private ride due to another person
not showing up. The scenery is amazing and Shane had some great stories to tell.
He also snapped some photos for us. It was a well priced overall great
experience thank you!

Ok I have been to many places and gone riding , please let me tell you this was
the MOST incredible ranch and the ability to wander a bit not just nose to tail
is superior to anything else I’ve done. Magnificent views , beautiful healthy
horses and the staff is so genuine and sweet. You will not be disappointed.

Words cannot explain how awesome our ride was! Beautiful views, healthy horses
to meet every rider level/size, and knowledgeable/helpful guides. Our group rode
out with Shade and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Rusty Spurr Ranch to
anyone who wants to ride horses in the Rockies. We did a 2 hour ride that was
paced perfectly and saw so many great views!
