Most entities find a match immediately, but in some cases additional documentation and a manual review is required. The average manual review time is currently three (3) days. Jul 29 Refine Your Search Results with the New Search Editor If you use Simple Search in SAM.gov today, you can continue to search as you normally do. Simple Search will remain the default. If you know how to use Boolean search phrases (advanced formulas used with special terms along with keywords), you can now use them with the new search editor in the SAM.gov Search. Jun 26 Updated FAR Language and Socio-Economic Categories for Small Business As of June 23, 2023, users can go into their registration in SAM.gov and select from the most recent socio-economic categories. May 26 Changes to the Purpose of Registration (POR) Page in SAM.gov Effective May 26, 2023, SAM.gov has updated the way you select your purpose of registration. When you start a new entity registration or update an existing registration, you will now be asked two questions to help determine how you want to use your SAM.gov.
