Why wouldn’t I hire a full time in-house designer?

Hiring a world class full-time senior designer costs over $100,000 annually.
Plus benefits and management overhead. It can also take multiple months to hire
a designer and be difficult to keep them busy with fluctuating design
requirements.

What’s the difference between Designwise and a traditional agency?

Traditional agencies have long forms + intro calls + meetings + proposals +
scope analysis before they actually start designing.

Often you will get green designers straight out of university doing most of the
leg work. Senior designers and PM’s don’t spend enough time on your project to
deliver deep customer insights.

With us you always get top quality senior designers. We cut the fluff to get
deliverables to you asap. We don’t pad time sheets with unneeded meetings and
junior designers. One simple flat fee per month, unlimited quality designs &
pause any time.

What is your design process like?

Our simple philosophy is “cut the fluff and deliver real business impact.” We
take a simple iterative process. Think + make + measure. And combine it with
scientific method: assumption + outcome + Measurement).

We get a minimum viable product in front of customers fast and then rapidly
improve it based on their feedback and data.


Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

Once subscribed, you're able to add as many design requests to your queue as
you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

What's the process in submitting a request?

1. Subscribe to a plan and you’ll receive a welcome email.

2. Within 24 hours we’ll have you set up on your own Trello board and you can
start requesting designs.
‍
3. The Trello request board is easy to use. We have clear guides and videos
showing you how to submit a request and what info we need.

4. As the admin of the Trello board you can invite unlimited team members and
you can manage request priorities. (Which requests go to the front of the queue
and get actioned first.)

How fast will I receive my designs?

On average, most requests are completed in just 1-3 business days. However, more
complex requests can take longer.

Who are the designers?

Design Wise is led by founder Bex Story - a Senior UX designer with experience
at big companies like NZ Post, Roadpass and EquipmentShare to name a few. 

As demand outstrips supply we are bringing on other top hand picked talent from
around the world. We only hire the best senior designers and creatives to join
the team.

How does the pause feature work?

On average, most requests are completed in just 1-3 business days. However, more
complex requests can take longer.

How fast will I receive my designs?

Our pause feature accommodates your fluctuating design needs. If you use our
service for part of the billing cycle (31 days) and pause it, the remaining days
will be saved for future use. For instance, if you pause after 21 days, you'll
have 10 service days left to utilize anytime later.

What if we already have a design team in place?

Designwise was made to be easy. We can integrate with your existing team or
function independently - what ever you need.

Are there any other hidden costs?


No! We preach transparency - the only cost is the subscription fee. There are no
hidden charges or onboarding fees involved.

What if I need more work done above the scope of the subscription?


If your design requirements surpass the scope of your subscription, reach out to
our team. We can explore potential solutions, such as extra services or a
personalized subscription plan, tailored to your specific needs.
