PBSC's door sets have a reputation for being long-lasting and durable, making
them the ideal choice for healthcare, laboratories, pharmaceutical, and medical
research facilities worldwide. Available in a single or double-door construction
with minimal visible fixings and can be customized to fit existing walls. There
are multiple options to choose from when it comes to cleanroom doors from PBSC;
one of the most popular options is a glass door, which gives a spacious and open
feel to a facility. Especially helpful for people working within the boundaries
of a laboratory environment. The door is made with toughened glass and is framed
with stainless steel, creating a sleek and clean look. This stunning cleanroom
glass door has a door leaf made with 10mm of toughened tempered glass,
delivering high levels of impact, scratch, and chemical resistance whilst being
incredibly robust. This cleanroom door set has no cavities in the leaf, making
it easy to clean and ideal for healthcare and laboratory settings. PBSC's glass
door set offers single or double-door options that can be customized to fit any
wall type. It includes custom frame sizes, stainless steel frames, or
powder-coated full wrap-around shrouds. With the unique PBSC concealed closer
system featuring a single closer arm made of solid stainless steel and a closer
that is sealed into the door frame. This eliminates the ledges and hard-to-clean
arms that are common with conventional surface-mounted closers. The robust steel
door with its seamless frame and true flush glazing to both sides of the door
leaf and no rebates or fixings help eliminate possible contamination. A
well-engineered steel door system specifically developed for the cleanroom
environment, having stood the test of time with its precision design and
reputation for lasting quality and durability. With many features including the
unique PBSC cast stainless steel hinge assembly allowing for maximum clear
opening, a welded and polished frame construction, and a robust 3-piece
framework system. Also available from PBSC's is the strong steel door set.
Having a seamless frame and true flush glazing on both sides of the door without
any fixings or rebates, making it resistant to possible contamination. This
steel door system is specially designed for cleanroom conditions and has proven
its durability and quality over time due to its precise engineering. Featuring a
welded and polished frame construction, a robust 3-piece framework system, and
the unique PBSC cast stainless steel hinge assembly for maximum clear opening.
PBSC also offers a rigorously engineered phenolic resin door set made of
chemical-grade phenolic resin, designed for laboratory, cleanroom, and corrosive
environments. The phenolic resin door set has a higher damage resistance and no
hollow cavities that can harbour contaminants. PBSC's cleanroom phenolic resin
door has excellent resistance to corrosive chemicals, impact resistance, a solid
core door leaf, flush glazed vision panels in custom sizes, and the unique
concealed closer system of PBSC. The phenolic resin door set has a higher
resistance to damage and prevents contamination ingress due to having no hollow
cavities, unlike metal doors. The last of the offerings from PBSC for cleanroom
door sets is the emergency escape door, also referred to as an emergency escape
panel or breakout panel and delivers a fast and secure way to exit a cleanroom
or a containment-controlled environment. It can also serve as a removable window
for equipment access routes during scheduled shutdowns. The flush frame is 1.5mm
thick in either polished stainless steel or polyester powder-coated finish. The
interior panel is made of high-quality acrylic sheet and comes with a rubber
gasket that's customized to fit your specific requirements and specifications.
It's easy to remove and takes only about 6 seconds to completely remove,
providing a quick escape when needed. PBSC also offers high containment doors,
including the inflatable seal door, ideal for high-traffic applications that
require superior airtight containment. Providing airtight containment for areas
with heavy traffic and wheeled equipment. These APR inflatable seal doors
consist of a doorframe, which is flush with the floor, eliminating tripping
hazards for trolleys. The door's seal is inflated with compressed air against a
curved frame, providing excellent leak resistance for pressure differences up to
2000 Pa (8" w.g.). Primarily utilized in facilities that require strict
containment measures, such as BSL3 and BSL4 labs. It boasts a high resistance to
leakage throughout the entire door set, as well as the ability to monitor seal
and building supply pressures. The unique PBSC cast stainless steel hinge
assembly and stand-alone PLC controls are just a couple of its unique features.
Another option within high containment is the mechanical seal door sets, which
are specifically made for high containment facilities, they are designed to
create a reliable airtight barrier. This is achieved by using a sturdy and
flexible seal that is manually compressed against the door frame. The seal
doesn't require compressed air, making it a fail-safe option in case of a power
outage. This door set is suitable for all containment applications and is
available with either stainless-steel or machined HPL door leaves. Both options
have been tested up to 2500PA (10" W.G.). If needed the door set can be
connected to an access control system. Opening the door is effortless and can be
achieved with just one hand from either side. It boasts numerous features,
including flush glazing on both sides of the door leaf, a sturdy fail-safe
design, low maintenance, and customizable button sets and LED indicators.Please
